The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:04 a.m., Don Pedro — An ambulance was called to Don Pedro High School after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted.

10:16 a.m., Columbia — A possible drunk driver was reported on the 22400 block of South Airport Road.

1:16 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone tried to break into a residence on the 23300 block of Middle Camp Road.

11:43 p.m., Jamestown — Two people were trying to steal gas from a vehicle on the 17900 block of Seco Street. They ran off but left their tools and gas can behind. 

6:01 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A 15-year-old girl cut off her ankle bracelet monitor and ran away from her home on the 15100 block of Potato Ranch Road. She was located by a deputy.


1:18 a.m., Columbia — Someone tried to break into a vehicle on the 27300 block of Italian Bar Road.

3:53 p.m., Sonora area — Agustin Eugene Foster Jr., 19, of the 19900 block of Trace Road, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics, violation of probation and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at his home.

8:27 p.m., Jamestown — Dillon Padriace O’Shea, 28, of the 19600 block of Rawhide Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of possession of narcotics and a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after an arrest on the 17300 block of Jeanese Drive.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


10:18 a.m., lost property — Medication was reported lost or stolen.

12:09 p.m., traffic violations — A 51-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, driving with a handheld cell phone and a stopping violation on Columbia Way.

12:28 p.m., indecent exposure — A woman was pulling up her skirt and exposing herself on the 100 block of Old Wards Ferry Road.

12:37 p.m., warrant arrest — A 64-year-old man was arrested on a felony warrant on the 600 block of South Washington Street.

4:31 p.m., theft — A student took another student’s iPod at Cassina High School and sold it. The victim did not want to press charges.

5:13 p.m., fraud — Identity theft was reported on Saratoga Road.

5:39 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone heard a loud “boom” and saw a plume of dark gray smoke on Mono Way. People located nearby denied involvement.



11:39 a.m., Copperopolis — A vehicle on the 82200 block of Steeplechase Drive was hit by an orange. 

1:26 p.m., Angels Camp — Reckless driving was reported on Highway 49.

1:30 p.m., San Andreas — Theft from a mailbox was reported on Highway 49. 

3:15 p.m., Arnold — A fence on Shady Circle was vandalized.

4:20 p.m., San Andreas — Graffiti was reported on a commercial building on the 400 block of East St. Charles Street.

4:23 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A possible drunk driver was reported at highways 49 and 26.

3:30 p.m., San Andreas — Kayla Louise Allen, 21, of the 300 block of Mariposa Street, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty and misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after an arrest at Mark Twain Medical Center.

5:13 p.m., Rail Road Flat — Francisco Jesus Becerra, 44, of the 700 block of Ridge Road, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury after an arrest on the 200 block of Railroad Flat Road. 


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


4:17 p.m., Angels Camp — Nathan Allen Ranker, 33, of the 1300 block of Mark Twain Road, was booked after an arrest on the 300 block of South Main Street.
