Sheriff's reports

TUESDAY

8:03 a.m., Sugar Pine — A caller said a vehicle parked on the 24000 block of Pine Cone Road was vandalized.

8:26 a.m., Sonora area — Law enforcement officers were told to keep an eye out for a man driving a white Chevrolet Silverado with dice hanging from the rearview mirror who was seen loitering around Sonora High School.

10:57 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 21100 block of Shaws Flat Road said her house was vandalized.

11:09 a.m., Groveland — A doctor at Don Pedro Family Clinic on the 3100 block of El Prado Road said a patient was uncontrollable and threatened employees at the clinic.

12:18 p.m., Cedar Ridge area — A sheriff's corporal was flagged down by a citizen who said trash had been illegally dumped near the 15600 block of Big Hill Road.

12:18 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman went to the Twain Harte Community Services Office to report another woman assaulted her.

1:16 p.m., Standard area — Three people called about an apparently drunken man walking on Tuolumne Road near Nugget Boulevard.

2:37 p.m., Mono Village — A woman said her wallet was stolen out of her unlocked vehicle parked in the Mono Village shopping center Monday.

2:40 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller said a tan car had broken down near Summerville Elementary School and it appeared the four people inside were under the influence of something.

3:57 p.m., East Sonora — Neighbors on the 12800 block of Mono Way were yelling at each other in a dispute over a fence. One neighbor said the other neighbor threatened to harm her.

4:40 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman said there is an on-going problem with teens going into an abandoned garage on Chestnut Avenue at Pine Street. Tuesday she saw two boys go into the garage and she told them to get out.

4:42 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said two men were beating on another man near a business on the 18100 block of Main Street.

4:55 p.m., East Sonora — A 35-year-old woman was booked on misdemeanor warrants after an arrest on the 12800 block of Mono Way.

5:09 p.m., Don Pedro Reservoir — A woman said her daughter and a friend were out on a boat in the reservoir and had run out of gasoline. Another boater picked up the stranded couple and brought them to shore.

6:49 p.m., Groveland — A caller on the 19700 block of Cottonwood Street said a man threatened the caller's 9-year-old son.

9:21 p.m., Tuolumne — A man stopped for driving over the double yellow line on Tuolumne Road at Pine Street was cited and released after a deputy found marijuana on the man.

7:45 p.m., Long Barn — A man said his house on the 26100 block of Long Barn Road was burglarized through a window and a telephone, a case of beer and a cell phone were stolen.

YESTERDAY

2:36 a.m., Crystal Falls — A woman said someone tried to break into her vehicles parked on the 21800 block of Fallview Drive because a car alarm went off and her husband found handprints in the dew.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

8:54 p.m., Tuolumne — A 37-year-old Tuolumne man was booked on suspicion of felony spousal battery, damaging a telephone line and misdemeanor drunken driving after an arrest at his home. He was released yesterday after posting $35,000 bail.

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Don Eugene Kumetat III, 46, 22400 block of Colorado River Drive, Sonora, booked at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday after arrest on the 19300 block of Cherokee Road, Tuolumne.

Sonora police reports

TUESDAY

9:54 a.m., theft — An 18-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl were cited and released for shoplifting candy from Save Mart on Stockton Road. When searched an officer found a small amount of marijuana on the man.

1:16 p.m., traffic accident — A woman complained of neck pain after a minor traffic accident on the corner on Mono Way at Greenley Road.

2:08 p.m., hazardous situation — A caller said a construction crew repairing a fire hydrant on North Stewart Street at East Dodge Lane was causing a traffic problem.

5:06 p.m., vandalism — A woman said her car was scratched while it was parked in a Sonora Crossroad shopping center parking lot.

5:11 p.m., traffic violation — A 44-year-old man was cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended driver's license after a traffic stop on Wyckoff Street.

6:35 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A caller said a teenage boy in an apartment on the 200 block of Greenley Road was "blowing flames out of a lighter."

10:40 p.m., traffic violation — A 23-year-old man was cited and released on suspicion of driving with a suspended driver's license after a traffic stop on Highway 108.

11:51 p.m., traffic accident — An 18-year-old woman received cuts to her hands in a roll-over accident on South Washington Street. According to Sonora police the woman was driving a four-day old car without her contact lenses. As she drove south on Washington Street near Tuolumne Street she drifted off the right side and hit an embankment which caused the car to roll over. The woman was not hospitalized.

TUESDAY

7:35 a.m., Rail Road Flat — Turkey hunters were possibly shooting near the 2500 block of Sierra Oaks Drive.

2:02 p.m., Vallecito — Loud music was reported on the 3600 block of Poag Road.

3:29 p.m., West Point — An ongoing dispute between neighbors was reported on the 2900 block of Oakhaven Lane.

5:56 p.m., San Andreas — A deputy was requested to retrieve and dispose of a black-powder gun at the Calaveras County Jail lobby.

7:42 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 300 block of East Sequoia Avenue said someone might have been trying to break into her trailer at the Sequoia Rose Mobile Home Park.

8:33 p.m., San Andreas — A male was reportedly stalking and harassing two females on the first block of West St. Charles Street.

11:36 p.m., Diamond XX — A caller on the 5300 block of Hub Court said she thought someone was in her yard.

YESTERDAY

1:31 a.m., Arnold — A female on the 2200 block of Pine Drive said toxic poisons were being released in her house.

2:53 a.m., Valley Springs — A caller on the 4200 block of Bartelink Drive said she heard glass breaking from the lower floor of her residence. Deputies checked the area for a possible prowler, but were unable to find anyone.

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Edward Philip Kekke, 62, 200 block of Tom Bell Road, Murphys, booked at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday after arrest at the intersection of Highway 4 and Red Hill Road near Angels Camp.

Salvador Estrella Perez, 28, of Sacramento, booked at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday after arrest on Highway 12 east of Wallace. Perez was also suspected of driving without a license.

Garret Adam Kuntz, 19, 3600 block of Lourie Court, Valley Springs, booked at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday after arrest at the intersection of Hartvickson Lane and Vista Del Lago Drive in Valley Springs.
