The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


8:26 a.m., vandalism — The tires on the driver’s side of a vehicle were found flat and possibly cut with a knife on Fairview Lane.

9:23 a.m., obstruction — A woman was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer after someone called saying she felt threatened on the 100 block of Hospital Road.

2:04 p.m., public intoxication — A man reportedly fell in the parking lot on the 1000 block of Mono Way. He was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, marijuana possession and violation of probation. 

3:52 p.m., fraud — Someone said another person tried to pick up medication in his or her name on the 800 block of Delnero Drive.

5:04 p.m., trespass — Officers assisted in asking a woman to leave property on the 100 block of Hospital Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


9:05 a.m., Jamestown — A rental home was reportedly vandalized, with boards taken off a window and a door kicked in on the 17400 block of Highway 108. The home was already in severe disrepair, according to the responding officer. 

10:10 a.m., Jamestown — Someone reportedly stripped copper wire from a car trunk on the 18600 block of Highway 108.

10:32 a.m., East Sonora — Someone was reportedly harassed in a parking lot on the 13700 block of Mono Way. It was called an ongoing situation. 

10:45 a.m., East Sonora — A female transient was asked by police to leave a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

11:27 a.m., Twain Harte area — A woman reportedly threw things at a man and tried to kick in his bedroom door on the 21800 block of Confidence Road.

12:21 p.m., Jamestown — Someone reported theft of two medical marijuana plants from the side of his house on the 18300 block of Main Street. 

1:36 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone requested extra patrol because people may have been casing the house the past couple nights on the 23200 block of Middle Camp Road. Cigarette butts were found by the back window. 

2:36 p.m., Columbia — A woman on the 11600 block of Souza Lane said she met a man online and now he is harassing her.

5:09 p.m., Jamestown — A laptop, $1,300 cash, medical marijuana, a gym bag and some equipment were stolen on the 10600 block of Eighth Street. 

6:19 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman said her ex-husband’s new girlfriend took a string weed trimmer from her son at Crystal Falls Drive West and Creekside Drive.

7:50 p.m., Jamestown — A woman was said to be walking around Jamestown trying to sell drugs to people. 


6:06 a.m., Sonora area — A woman in the emergency room said she was assaulted the night before on the 20100 block of Jamestown Road.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


7:12 p.m., Jamestown area — Enrique Terrones, 39, of an unknown address on Finnigan Lane, Angels Camp, arrested on Highway 108, west of O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

11:02 p.m., Sonora — Barbara Marie Dolman, 37, of the 100 block of Columbia Circle, was booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy, after an arrest on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. 

11:02 p.m., Sonora — Angeline Amanda Meether, 32, of the 10 block of Columbia Way, was booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy, after an arrest on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. 


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


9:43 a.m., Arnold — A gas station was vandalized on Highway 4.

10:26 a.m., Murphys — A mobile home was broken into on Tom Bell Road.

11:53 a.m., Tamarack — A home was broken into on Meadow Drive.

3:21 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A supply shed was broken into at Mokelumne Hill Elementary on Highway 26.

3:36 p.m., Valley Springs — Items were stolen from a stored boat at Hogan Observation Point on Hogan Dam Road. 

7:31 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A bear keeps eating pears off a tree and bothering livestock on South Railroad Flat Road.

7:43 p.m., Campo Seco — A fence was damaged at an undisclosed place.

9:16 p.m., Angels Camp — A man was allegedly being noisy and breaking glass on South Main Street.


12:19 a.m., Angels Camp — A semi truck hit the marquee sign at the movie theater on South Main Street.

8:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Saul Santiago Ochoa, 36, of Merced, was booked on suspicion of auto theft, after an arrest on the first block of North Main Street.

2:45 a.m., Murphys area — Curtis John Kesterson, 34, of the 3300 block of Burson Road, Burson, arrested on Highway 4 at Darby Russell Road.
