CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY
    8:08 a.m., Glencoe — Vandalism occurred on Ridge Road.
    6:53 p.m., West Point — A burglary was reported at a residence on Higdon Spink Cutoff Road.

WEDNESDAY
    2:47 a.m., Copperopolis — Battery occurred on Buckboard Drive.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY
    11 p.m., Angels Camp — Steven Dwayne Almer, 45, of the 1000 block of Bret Harte Road, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest on Bret Harte Road.

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY
    2:10 a.m., Jamestown — A woman heard what she believed was a either a loud gunshot or an explosion near the 18700 block of Highway 108.
    6:55 a.m., Crystal Falls — A bird in the power lines caused a loud explosion and the power to go out near the 22400 block of Colorado River Drive South.
    8:25 a.m., East Sonora — A woman reported someone had stolen change, two battery chargers, a GPS, flashlight and a box of fuses out her car parked at her apartment complex on the 19500 block of Hess Avenue.
    1:21 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 19500 block of Mount Echo Road reported someone had stolen trash from the back of his pickup while he was on his way to the dump.
 5:28 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman walking along the fire road near her house on Mount Elizabeth Road reported someone dumped a pile of trash in the middle of the road.
    7:00 p.m., Jamestown — Two older men were fighting in Rocca Park.
    9:11 p.m., Sonora area — Three people were brawling while a group of others watched on the 12800 block of Chukar Circle.
    10: 54 p.m., Jamestown — A woman who rolled her car into a person’s yard, got out and began wandering around on the 17700 block of Rolling Hills Boulevard.

TUESDAY
    10:10 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Jesse David Osland, 27, of the 300 block of East Lake Avenue, Watsonville, was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to sell and cultivation of marijuana, after an arrest on the 24500 block of Bottini Apple Ranch Road.
    2:30 p.m., Sonora area — Jason Scott Ryan, 49, of the 300 block of Fairview Lane, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury, after an arrest on the 200 block of Yaney Avenue.
    3:18 p.m., Sonora area — Christopher Paul Goltz, 37, of the 100 block of West Lytton Street, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.

    Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

TUESDAY
    9 p.m., Jamestown — Jenna Michelle Prosser, 25, arrested on Jacksonville Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY
    10:41 a.m., theft — A white truck parked near Creative Sounds on North Washington Street had been broken into over the weekend and an amplifier and subwoofer were taken.
    11:28 p.m., public intoxication — A man almost fell into the road near the intersection of Restano Way and Mono Way and appeared to be intoxicated. He was later arrested after officers found him sitting on a curb on Mono Way at Hospital Road.
