 CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:53 a.m., San Andreas— Someone reported an unoccupied firetruck parked near a monument on Mountain Ranch Road. Deputies confirmed Cal Fire was doing exercises. 

11:43 a.m., Burson —  People trespassed, left beer bottles and “pooped’ on a porch at a residence on Navajo Way.

TUESDAY

12:45 p.m., Modesto — Raymond Scott Irby, of the 70300 block of Almond Drive, Sunnyvale, was booked on suspicion of burglary and vehicle theft, after leading deputies on a foot chase in Calaveras County that ended in injuries and transportation to a Modesto hospital where the arrest was made. 

WEDNESDAY

4:48 p.m., Angels Camp — Russell Gene Pacheco, 59, of the 100 block of Main Street was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest at his home. 

11 p.m., Angels Camp — Shannon Martin Simard, 23, of the 12800 block of Fair Oaks Blvd., Citrus Heights, was booked on suspicion of carrying a knife and misdemeanor carrying an unloaded gun, and weapons manufacturing after an arrest at Highway 49 and Sams Way.

Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

WEDNESDAY

5:46 p.m., Copperopolis — Eric Christopher Restrepo, 31, of the 2200 block of Marston Road, was booked after an arrest at Highway 4 and Telegraph Road. 

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:51 a.m., civil problem — A man on the 700 block of Mono Way had a dispute with an ex-girlfriend over ownership of a dog at a veterinary office. Officers determined the dog was co-owned by the man and the ex-girlfriend. 

5:31 p.m., disorderly conduct — A man in a hat and flannel shirt was outside a bar on South Washington Street hitting the windows and causing a disturbance after being asked to leave. 

7:04 p.m., burglary — Someone drilled the lock out of a woman’s car parked at a restaurant on Mono Way.

7:47 p.m., theft —A woman at a Greenley Road school said her car was broken into and her purse was taken. 

9:06 p.m., burglary — A car parked at a Mono Way fast-food parking lot was broken into. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

1:37 p.m., Sonora — Someone broke two windows at the jail on Yaney Avenue. 

1:49 p.m., Sonora area —A woman on Mono Vista Road North said someone was “speeding down” an easement. 

4:13 p.m., Sonora area — A man said theft had occurred at his property on Jamestown Road. He told deputies he did not have time to meet them and he would call them after he returned from his son’s field trip. 

6:50 p.m., Sonora area — Someone stole a black carry on suitcase and a black back-pack full of fishing gear on Susan Way. 

9:27 p.m., Groveland —Someone at Hopper Street and Highway 120 was driving in circles around a parking lot. They told deputies he was looking for a place to park his car. 

THURSDAY

12:27 a.m., Jamestown — A woman “tugged on a man’s shirt” during an argument.

7:20 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said a neighbor started screaming at her 15-year-old daughter when she was walking to the school bus.

WEDNESDAY

1:39 p.m., Sonora — Susana Lilibeth Ferreira, 37, of the 2300 block of Pamela Lane, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime, drug possession, and bringing drugs into a jail after an arrest at Stockton and Mill Villa roads.
