TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

5:49 a.m., East Sonora — Gasoline was stolen overnight from a vehicle parked on the 12800 block of Cabezut Road.

8:52 a.m., Tuolumne — A man was stealing groceries on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road about 7 p.m. Thursday. When the manager was chasing him out of the store, he dropped the stolen items and a prescription bottle with a name on it. 

3:18 p.m., Jamestown area — A woman on the 8400 block of Old Melones Dam Road said she was scammed on the Internet for $800 that she sent to buy a laptop she never received.

8:31 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man on the 24100 block of Golf Links Road said he was putting new wheels and tires on his truck and went to the neighbor’s to borrow a jack. When he returned 10 minutes later, one tire and one wheel were missing.

SATURDAY

11:06 a.m., Long Barn — A man said a woman with a bullhorn stepped in front of his car and yelled at him that he was speeding when he was only going 15 mph. She admitted to a deputy she was very frustrated with vehicles speeding in front of her residence and said a dog was run over the previous night. She said she wasn’t physically stopping traffic but was yelling with the bullhorn, telling speeders to slow down.

1:03 p.m., Tuolumne area — A rental property on the 18900 block of Stag Circle was trashed. There were holes in the walls, and all of the cabinet doors were ripped off.

 3:17 p.m., unknown location — Someone was in the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office lobby had information about a murder that might have occurred in the county a long time ago.

6:43 p.m., Jamestown — An 8- or 9-year-old child was stuck in a sewer pipe in a parking lot on the 10200 block of Preston Lane. No ambulance was needed, but Cal Fire was called to help get the child out.

9 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman just arrived at her home on the 17000 block of Mono Vista Road South and found it had been broken into and multiple items were taken.

SUNDAY

1:02 a.m., Columbia — Lauren Michelle Aufdencamp, 22, of the 21900 block of Douglasville Mine Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 21700 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

1:27 a.m., Columbia — Matthew Dale Miller, 26, transient, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 21700 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

4:01 a.m., East Sonora — Dustin Leon Miller, 32, of the 19800 of Rawhide Road, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 14800 block of Mono Way.

4:26 a.m., East Sonora — Robert Santorelli Jr., 47, of the 12900 block of Chukar Circle, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 14800 block of Mono Way.

8:06 p.m., Sonora — Felipe Gonzalez, 38, of the 400 block of El Cajon Drive, San Jose, was booked on suspicion of child endangerment, after an arrest at Greenley Road and Mono Way.

MONDAY

1:02 a.m., Soulsbyville — Matthew Vernon Cliburn, 30, of the 20300 block of Canyon View Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Soulsbyville and Black Oak roads.

SUNDAY

12:57 a.m., Tuolumne — Edward Loera Contreras, 59, of the 20800 block of Uncle Toms Drive, San Lorenzo, was arrested at Tuolumne and Black Oak roads.

4:10 p.m., Lake Tulloch — Scott Eric Hanson, 28, of the 700 block of Aries Lane, Foster City, was booked on suspicion of using a watercraft while under the influence, after an arrest near O’Byrnes Ferry Bridge.

7:24 p.m., La Grange — Vincent Augustine Maestaz, 28, of the 4700 block of Alum Rock Avenue, San Jose, was booked on suspicion of using a watercraft while under the influence, after an arrest on Lake Don Pedro.

8:12 p.m., South County — Dennis Michael Kavie, 51, of the 18700 block of Highway 108, Jamestown, was arrested on Highway 49 south of Sierra Rock.

MONDAY

3:12 p.m., Sonora — Randall King Clements, 30, of the 10100 block of Preston Lane, Jamestown, was arrested on Stewart Street near the probation department building.

8:40 p.m., Tuttletown — Elizabeth Sharon Quinn, 58, of the 22400 block of Ridge Road, Twain Harte, was arrested on Highway 49 north of Tuttletown School Road.

TUESDAY

12:27 a.m., Sonora — Katrina Jeanne Anderson, 27, of the 16900 block of Amy Drive, was arrested at Mono Way and Highway 108.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:26 p.m., traffic violations — A vehicle that the driver failed to yield to a traffic stop on Cabezut Road was found abandoned in a nearby neighborhood off Beckwith Circle. It was towed, and a be-on-the-lookout was issued for the suspected driver.

SATURDAY

1:33 a.m., theft — Three people took off running from a cab driver without paying their fare on South Barretta Street.
