TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

3:46 a.m., Sonora — A woman in the Sonora Regional Medical Center ER said she was assaulted earlier in the day by some girls at a party at an unknown location.

9:43 a.m., Twain Harte — An exterminator who was servicing a house for pest control on the 23100 block of Quail Drive said he found an upstairs door kicked in.

9:56 a.m., Tuttletown — A person on the 20700 block of Jackass Hill Road reported seeing a helicopter flying low in the area.

9:57 a.m., Sonora — A man on the 19500 block of Serrano Road reported that a transmission was stolen and had information about the suspected thief.

10:16 a.m., Phoenix Lake — A woman on the 20800 block of Christopher Circle reported that painters have been working on her house for a month and now her jewelry is missing.

2:38 p.m., Jamestown — A woman reported that her son assaulted her somewhere on Dutch Mine Road.

6:54 p.m., Cedar Ridge — A man reported that his 13-year-old daughter was bitten by a brown beagle on the 16600 block of Hillside Drive. The girl suffered bruises and the owner of the dog assured the girl’s father that the animal had received a rabies shot.

7:17 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 18200 block of Lakeview Drive reported that his dog died on April 28 under suspicious circumstances. He said the dog was only 4 years old and was acting strangely before it died.

7:50 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman reported she was kicked out of a car by another woman after an argument on Highway 108 and Allison Way.

WEDNESDAY

1:32 a.m., Jamestown — A woman reported that she was assaulted by nine people who “jumped her” at her home on the 10200 block of Preston Lane. Officers determined the woman’s injuries did not appear to be fresh and could have been from a previous fight. The woman declined medical care.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

10:09 a.m., suspicious geocaching — Two people were seen behind the Sonora Police Department in Woods Creek with a camera. It was determined that the people were geocaching.

2:43 p.m., assault — A manager at Bank of America on South Washington Street reported being assaulted by an elderly woman in a purple blouse and floral skirt, who was refusing to leave. Officers determined the woman was suffering from mental problems and she was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment.

5:00 p.m., vehicle theft — A motorcycle and other items were stolen from a residence on Alpine Lane.

1:33 p.m., Sonora area — Steven Gayle, 46, of the 19500 block of Serrano Road, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

2:13 p.m., Wallace — There was a burglary on White Owl Drive.

4:07 p.m., Burson — An arrest was made after an argument.

6:02 p.m., Copperopolis — Someone reported a violation of a court order on Little John Road.

9:56 p.m., Murphys — Someone in the middle of a family dispute reported a theft of items on Mitchler Avenue.

TUESDAY

3:57 a.m., Angels Camp — Brent Edward Lee, 35, of the 700 block of South Main Street, Altaville, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest on the 700 block of South Main Street.

5:28 p.m., Burson — Benjamin Thomas Kerr, 26, of the 5100 block of Messing Road, was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, after an arrest on the 12300 block of Stedman Ranch Road.
