The Sheriff’s Department reported the following:
12:31 p.m., Valley Springs area — Gunshots were reported near East Highway 26.
10:34 p.m., Mountain Ranch — There was a report of trespassing on Skyview Court.
11:20 p.m., San Andreas — An apartment was vandalized on Lewis Avenue.
4:45 a.m., Valley Springs — Steven Russell Carson, 21, of the 600 block of Stewart Street, Manteca, booked onsuspicion of second-degree burglary, drug possession, vandalism causing $400 or more in damage, resisting arrest, possession of burglary tools and destruction of a wireless device, after an arrest on the 200 block of Highway 12.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
8:54 a.m., Columbia — Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a man “acting strangely and moving furniture outside” at a residence on the 22500 block of Kennebec Lane. A 29-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor resisting arrest, being under the influence of a drug and destroying or concealing evidence.
9:55 a.m., East Sonora — Someone at a pizza parlor on the 14700 block of Mono Way said an unknown caller has been ordering pizzas from a blocked phone number and never comes to pick them up.
1:45 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Three men left a cafe on the 24500 block of Highway 108 without paying for lunch.
2:15 p.m., Jamestown — A man at Main Street and Highway 108 said he saw a couple of juveniles at apartments across from a business who were flashing gang signs and appeared to have either BB guns or airsoft guns.
5:04 p.m., Sonora area — Someone on the 11700 block of Essen Lane said a man stole a battery tester.
12:17 a.m., Columbia — A woman said she accidentally left her garage door open at her home on the 11300 block of Columbia Village Drive and her son’s bicycle was stolen.
4:11 p.m., Tuolumne — Mathew James Burbey, 45, of the 12800 block of Chukar Circle, booked on suspicion of drug possession and resisting arrest, after an arrest on Cherry Valley Boulevard North at Bay Street.
10:41 p.m., Groveland — Todd Everett Anderson, 18, of the 12900 block of Mueller Drive, booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, after an arrest at his home. The Sheriff’s Office said a man who was walking his dog at 5:52 p.m. near Mueller Drive and Ferretti Road claims Anderson intentionally swerved at him while driving.
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
7:26 a.m., animal complaints — A woman said she was aggressively cornered and threatened by three large snarling dogs Sunday afternoon at her home on Briarwood Drive.
7:49 a.m., traffic accidents — A vehicle struck a juvenile pedestrian at North Washington and Cowan streets. Officers responded and confirmed there were no injuries to the pedestrian. The juvenile’s mother was contacted.
2:20 p.m., fight — Someone said there was a road rage incident at the Walmart parking lot on Sanguinetti Road but officers determined it was a mutual argument over a parking space.Ne
