TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

12:22 a.m., Jamestown — A 50-year-old man was arrested at Highway 108 and Main Street on a local misdemeanor warrant.

12:26 a.m., Columbia — Maintenance staff at a building on the 22000 block of Broadway found a broken window with “a lot of blood” and a blood trail leading from it. 

4:21 p.m., New Melones Lake — Someone said a group was bungee jumping off of Stevenot Bridge on the Tuolumne County side. Rangers responded and removed the rope and jumpers.

4:42 p.m., Jamestown — A 52-year-old man was arrested on local misdemeanor warrants after deputies responded to a report of a verbal dispute on the 28000 block of Main Street.

5:41 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A 38-year-old man was arrested on local misdemeanor warrants and a 24-year-old man was arrested on a local felony warrant, after a traffic stop at Black Road and Highway 120.

9:27 p.m., Columbia — A woman said an unknown man with a mustache and a French accent was following her and her friend around Columbia State Historic Park. He also allegedly tried to follow them in his vehicle, which was described as a white Toyota Corolla or Camry. Deputies were unable to locate the man.

9:29 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman said someone stole gold from her apartment on the 18000 block of Tuolumne Road.

THURSDAY

6 p.m., Mono Vista — Sean Michael Richie, 28, of the 20000 block of Mechanical Drive, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of child endangerment, after an arrest on the 20000 block of Longeway Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

1:28 p.m., warrant arrests — A 27-year-old woman was arrested at Norlin and Bradford streets on a felony warrant out of Calaveras County.

2:50 p.m., graffiti — Someone on South Shepherd Street reported seeing graffiti at several locations throughout the city.

3:40 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman at apartments on Greenley Road said there was a man standing on the walkway outside her apartment. She said the man has been advised by management to stay away because he stands and stares into her windows. Officers contacted the suspect, who denied the allegations.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:05 a.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle was vandalized on Cedar Street.

10:09 a.m., Valley Springs — A business was burglarized on California Street.

4:24 p.m., Valley Springs — A 53-year-old woman was arrested for trespassing on the 6000 block of Thornicroft Drive.

THURSDAY

9:52 a.m., Murphys — Louann Wright, 59, of the 18000 block of Fourth Street, Jamestown, was arrested on Highway 4 east of Utica Powerhouse Road.

11:30 a.m., San Andreas — Harold Wayne Bunnell, 58, of the 100 block of Myrtle Street, Valley Springs, was arrested on the 100 block of West Saint Charles Street.
