The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


11:28 a.m., San Andreas — Someone was protesting a protester’s use of the American flag at a business on East Saint Charles Street.

Felony bookings


11:30 a.m., Arnold — Krystal Lynne Koelling, 34, of the 1000 block of Pebble Beach Way, was booked on suspicion of being accessory to a crime and misdemeanor willful cruelty to a child and being under the influence of a controlled substance after an arrest at her home.

9:38 p.m., Murphys — Brandon Christopher Towne, 32, of the 100 block of Howard Court, Avery, was booked on suspicion of molestation after an arrest at Highway 4 and Williams Street.

12:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Mitchell Lee Ballard, 26, of the 300 block of South Main Street, was booked on suspicion of gun possession after an arrest at Highway 49 and Murphys Grade Road.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


8:27 a.m., lost property — A rental car was returned to a business on Southgate Drive. When the business inspected the car, they found a gun.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:11 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on Beckwith Road said her neighbor was spreading rumors about her mother and her.

11:29 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on Longeway Road said that a man gave her items when she moved into her new home. He is now texting her and calling her demanding his items back. Officers advised her to tell the man to stop contacting her.

11:56 a.m., Sonora area — A man on Big Hill Road said that he was hit by a trash container.

3:44 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Black Oak Road said someone cut a rope blocking her driveway.

6:40 p.m., Mi-Wuk — Someone on Wakalu Trail and Lama Road called 911 and said that a suspicious white van was parked in the driveway of a neighbor.

6:42 p.m., Tuolumne — A Carol Lane woman said a horse was loose in her front yard. She was trying to locate the owner.

7:43 p.m., Columbia — Someone on Yankee Hill Road said that a man was sitting in a car in their driveway and, when they approached him, he made noises.

9:30 p.m., Columbia — A man on Slate Rim Road said his son, who does not live with him, ran away and was safe and home now. He asked deputies for a welfare check on his son. Deputies asked why he wanted a welfare check on someone who is safe and at home.
