The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


10:54 a.m., Valley Springs—  A woman was at a property on Highway 12 and starting campfires at night.

Felony bookings


9:20 a.m., Angels Camp — Steven Virgil Lindsey, 49, of the 20000 block of Tuttletown Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and driving under the influence, after an arrest on the 300 block of Murphys Grade Road.

7:15 p.m.,  San Andreas — Wesley James Brown, 28, of the 9000 block of Decatur Drive, Stockton, was booked on suspicion of violating a court order, after an arrest on Treat Street.  


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:02 p.m., animal complaint — A man was seen at a Sanguinetti Road business with a dog that may have been reported missing. Officers confirmed that it was not the missing dog.

4:09 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone on North Stewart Street said a money order never came and suspected theft. The caller later said that the money order had not been mailed out and the report was cancelled.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


10:36 a.m., East Sonora — A deputy contacted a man who was praying in his car at a Standard Road park.

1:08 p.m., Tuolumne — A man threw a rock through a car windshield at a North Tuolumne Road business. Deputies arrived and found that he had smashed his own car window so that he could see out of it.

4:15 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said a neighbor on Beckwith Road had security cameras pointed at her house.

7:09 p.m., Sonora area —  A man and a woman were throwing beer bottles at people on Serrano Road.

8:09 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman called 911 from a business phone at North Tuolumne Road. She said that she “does not want an emergency.” 

Felony bookings


1:35 p.m., Sonora — Gina Marie Cassettari, 25, of the 500 block of Orchard Avenue, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Shepherd and Jackson streets.

1:35 p.m., Sonora — Jamie Renee Forrest, 51, of the 500 block of Orchard Avenue, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Shepherd and Jackson streets.

6:50 p.m.,  Sonora — Adam Rafael Jimenez, 26, of the 19000 block of Grace Way, was booked on suspicion of resisting arrest with a deadly weapon, after an arrest on the 22000 block of Gunsight Road.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


1:16 a.m., Soulsbyville — Daniel David Evans, 26, of an unknown address, Soulsbyville, was arrested on Black Oak and Overlook Road.

3:25 p.m., East Sonora — Regina Lucia Gambino, 48, of the 18000 block of Wards Ferry Road, was arrested on Standard Road and Mono Way.
