TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

3:29 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A Fairview Lane woman said her son broke into her house while she was sleeping and moved things around.

10:32 a.m., threats — A Daybreak Court man said a neighbor threatened a gardener over water usage.

12:55 p.m., traffic accident — A vehicle accident occurred on South Washington Street. No injuries were reported.

10:02 p.m., theft — Stereo equipment was stolen from a Shaws Flat Road residence.

SATURDAY

6:26 a.m., suspicious circumstances — An unknown man in a black hooded sweatshirt was knocking on doors on Fairview Lane and reportedly stealing gas.

6:53 a.m., public peace — Someone was operating a very loud leaf blower near Morning Star Drive.

5:36 p.m., theft — Someone stole a bottle of alcohol from a West Stockton Road business.

8:14 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone was seen running toward the fairgrounds from behind a West Stockton Road gas station with a cap over their face. Police were unable to locate anyone in the area matching the description.

SUNDAY

8:04 a.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was sitting in a vehicle parked at an Old Wards Ferry Road business. 

5:09 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman said that it sounds like someone is trying to get in her front door. She checked the windows and saw no one. Officers on scene could not find anyone lurking. She declined medical help.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:10 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on Silver Pine Drive said she was being stalked by an ex-roommate.

10:28 a.m., Sonora area — A man and woman fought on Chukar Circle.

12:41 p.m., Twain Harte — A burglary was reported on Confidence Road.

1:32 p.m., Tuolumne — An intoxicated man was seen bleeding from the face on Tuolumne Road.

2:03 p.m., Sonora area — An Allison Way resident said she found an unused hypodermic needle in her mailbox.

2:31 p.m., Columbia — A woman reported a registered sex offender visiting her apartment complex on State Street. She said her lease does not allow this and was informed it was a civil matter.

4:55 p.m., Sonora area — A man said his neighbors were harassing him on Crestview Drive by burning plastic and other trash and blowing the smoke onto his property.

5:08 p.m., Jamestown — Two brothers armed with sticks and crowbars were fighting on Peppermint Circle.

5:24 p.m., Sonora area — A fight occurred on Wigwam Road over an eviction between tenants and owners.

7:51 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Outback Road said he bought a pickup on-line from New York but it had not yet arrived.

8:43 p.m., Sonora area — A woman claimed her son was physically abused by his father.

8:51 p.m., Sonora area — A man threatened neighbors on Allison Way with a rifle.

10 p.m., La Grange — A vehicle break-in and theft of radio equipment occurred on Merced Falls Road.

SATURDAY

9:13 a.m., Groveland — Someone broke into a Green Valley Circle home and apparently ransacked the residence.

10:22 a.m., Jamestown — A woman reported possible child abuse by a stepfather.

11:40 a.m., Groveland — Officers responded to a big-rig overturned on Highway 120 near Whites Gulch Road that spilled 200 gallons of diesel fuel into a seasonal creek.

1:20 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A woman reportedly hit a car intentionally with her car on Sommette Drive and fled the area.

2:15 p.m., Tuolumne — A pipe and bag of white powder were found in the youth center and library bathroom on Main Street.

4:11 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Berg Street said someone tried to steal $500 from her bank account.

6:12 p.m., Columbia — Someone reported large, unkempt a man wearing all red with slippers on taking pictures of children with an expensive camera.

6:38 p.m., Sonora — A woman reportedly stole eye makeup from a Sanguinetti Road business.

7:43 p.m., Columbia — A possible fire was reported on Columbia Crest Drive.

SUNDAY

7:02 a.m., Sonora area — A dog reportedly killed three sheep on Jacobs Road.

9:50 a.m., Sonora area — Someone found opened mail in the bushes on Skyview Drive.

3:32 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said the she saw a parachutist or “some type of balloon thing” falling from the sky.

10:32 a.m., Sonora — Kristina Lea Dunn, 44, of the 18000 block of Sierra Drive, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of petty theft with a prior conviction and violation of probation after an arrest on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

5:49 p.m., Sonora — Richard Russell Butler, 37, of the first block of Stewart Street, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale after an arrest at Highway 108 and South Washington Street.

8:45 p.m., Twain Harte — Ryan Hall Derrick, 36, of the 21800 block of Cedar Springs Road, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of possession of concentrated cannabis after an arrest at East Avenue and Cedar Pine.

SATURDAY

1:23 a.m., Sonora — Leslie Louise Correia, 50, of the 18400 block of Vista Drive, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of drug possession as well as misdemeanor suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs after an arrest on Highway 108.

6 p.m., Sonora — Ralph Williams Posten Jr., 61, listed as a transient, was booked on suspicion of petty theft with a prior conviction after an arrest at Stockton Road and Green Street.

8:35 p.m., Sonora — Hannah Lafayette, 38, of the 18600 block of Cedar Street, Tuolumne, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 at Mono Way.

8:55 p.m., Jamestown — Robert Cole Coville, 21, of the 22000 block of Robertson Ranch Road, was booked after an arrest at Rawhide Road.

6:45 p.m., Sonora area — Michael Anthony Stone, 53, of the 22000 block of Red River Drive was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 and Lime Kiln Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

7:47 a.m., Valley Springs — Counterfeit $5 and $10 bills were used at a Main Street business.

1:30 p.m., San Andreas — A man was screaming and yelling at people in a Treat Avenue park.

1:52 p.m., Valley Springs — Children were seen walking around Valley Springs Elementary School with an Airsoft gun.

3:49 p.m., San Andreas — A debit card was compromised on Toyanza Court.

6:33 p.m., Arnold — A burglary was reported at a Marilyn Way residence.

9:10 p.m., Arnold — A burglary was reported on Shannon Way.

SATURDAY

7:50 a.m., Camp Connell — A wallet was reported stolen on Meko Drive.

10:18 a.m., Douglas Flat — A residential burglary was reported on Live Oak Court.

12:55 p.m., Valley Springs — People were seen trespassing in a condemned house on Botfuher Road.

3:04 p.m., Valley Springs — Three dogs were seen locked in a car on California Street for at least five days with no one around.

3:48 p.m., Murphys — A woman was seen urinating in a parking lot before she reportedly threw a beer can out of a truck on Mitchler Avenue.

3:58 p.m., San Andreas — A man was yelling obscenities from his porch on Pope Street.

6:53 p.m., Murphys — A residential burglary was reported on Sheep Ranch Road.

8:06 p.m., Murphys — A fight was reported on Main Street.

SUNDAY

12:05 p.m., Valley Springs — A man with a cardboard sign was standing outside a business on Highway 12.

12:42 p.m., Angels Camp — A man on Bailinquick Road said that a neighbor is taking his dirt.

12:45 p.m., Burson — A man was chasing his brother down Arapaho Way. An arrest was made.

5:22 p.m., San Andreas — A business on East Charles Street received counterfeit money.

2:19 p.m., San Andreas — Sabrina Louise Williams, 20, of the 100 block of Court Street, was booked on suspicion of battery, after an arrest on the 200 block of Treat Street. 

9:50 p.m., Burson — Jason Ezra Vancleave, 43, of the 3000 block of Highway 4, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of resisting arrest, and misdemeanor driving under the influence, after an arrest on Highway 12 and Burson Road.

SATURDAY

10:23 a.m., San Andreas — Curtis John Borland, 26, of the 1000 block of Mockingbird Hill Lane, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, robbery, assault with deadly weapon, battery and evading police, after an arrest on Hogan Dam Parkway.

4:12 p.m., Copperopolis — Santiago Martin Andrade, 38, of the 3000 block of Vicki Court, Merced, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on the 900 block of Iroquois Drive. 

SUNDAY

10:05 a.m. San Andreas — Carolyn Michelle Rose, 31, of an unknown address, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the north county line of  Highway 49. 

12:20 p.m., San Andreas — Joshua Edward Peabody, 27, of the 6000 block of Southworth Road, Burson, was booked on suspicion of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a stolen vehicle, and conspiracy to commit a crime, after an arrest on Church Hill Road.

3:50 p.m., Angels Camp — Ponglieu Saeteurn, 33, of the 2000 block of Los Amigos, Rancho Cordova, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on Mark Twain Road.

9:32 p.m., Angels Camp — Michelle Dauvet, 51, of the 3000 block of Highway 4, Vallecito, was booked on suspicion of battery, after an arrest on the 1300 block of Bush Street.

11:10 p.m., Murphys — James Robert Bertrand Jr., 32, of the 500 block of Lewis Street, was arrested on the 100 block of Highway 4. 

2:17 p.m.,  Murphys — George M. Martin III, 70, of the 6000 block of Olts Road, Mountain Ranch, was arrested on Sheep Ranch Road.

9:59 p.m., Burson — Michael James Powers, 25, of the 6000 block of Evergreen Road, was arrested on Burson Road and Highway 12. 

10:56 p.m., Angels Camp — Derald Willard Johnson, 66, of the 1000 block of Leonard Court, San Andreas, was arrested on Six Mile Road.

SUNDAY

7:34 p.m., Copperopolis — Gregory Michael Knutson, 65, of the 2000 block of Mohawk Court, was arrested at Littlejohn Road and Reeds Turnpike. 

Cal Fire reported the following:

FRIDAY

3:03 p.m., San Andreas — Vehicle fire on the 4000 block of Calaveritas Road. 

5:39 p.m., West Point — Vegetation fire on the 100 block of Robinville Drive.
