TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

7:32 a.m., trespassing — A man slept in his vehicle near Hospital Road for the past two days. He was asked to leave the area. He later harassed Behavioral Health employees in the parking lot. 

7:52 p.m., trespassing — A man was seen setting up a transient camp on Guzzi Lane.

7:56 p.m., assault — A woman said her son was assaulted in a Sanguinetti Road store.

SATURDAY

10:56 a.m., public peace — A man on South Washington Street cursed at people as they walked by.

12:44 p.m., hazardous situation — A man threw garbage out of his truck. 

5:56 p.m., theft — Police received second-hand information about items stolen from a white Jeep parked in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:44 a.m., Jamestown — A bicycle was stolen on Seco Road.

10:05 a.m., La Grange — A column of smoke was seen near J-59.

10:41 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on Yerba Santa Drive said she was assaulted by her sister.

Noon, Columbia — A woman on Valley Quail Road said her granddaughter stole more than $1,500 through charges on her debit card.

1:21 p.m., Sonora area — Jewelry was stolen from an Ivy Drive residence.

1:32 p.m., Tuolumne — A cooler was seen on a roof smoking on First Avenue.

2:47 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Mono Way said her daughter’s phone was stolen and she was having a hard time getting it back.

3:54 p.m., Groveland — A Cresthaven Drive resident found fraudulent charges on his or her bank account.

4:11 p.m., Moccasin — A group of people was seen climbing on houseboats at the Fleming Marina without permission.

4:20 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman was seen walking along Highway 108 with a pink bathrobe.

8:32 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Kewin Mill Road said a bear was in her yard the night before.

9:02 p.m., Sonora area — A man claimed his ex-girlfriend committed a hit-and-run on his car near a Mono Way pharmacy.

9:54 p.m., Jamestown — A squatter near Jacksonville Road was caused problems for neighbors and left his three horses loose in the area.

SATURDAY

1:16 a.m., Sonora area — Someone lit a fire in the middle of the street on Nikki Court.

9:30 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on Florence Way said her boyfriend put his hands around her throat and pushed her against the wall.

11:16 a.m., Soulsbyville — A man yelled at Armario Road residents running a garage sale and claimed items on sale were his.

11:54 a.m., Jamestown — A radio, ski tower and boat cover were taken from a boat on Jacksonville Road.

12:05 p.m., Sonora area — A man said his girlfriend assaulted him.

12:49 p.m., Don Pedro — A man at the Fleming boat launch was burned after a barbecue exploded on him.

1:55 p.m., Sonora area — An antenna was stolen from a church on Peaceful Valley Road.

2:30 p.m., Jamestown — A catalytic converter and exhaust system were stolen off a car on Shell Road.

3:21 p.m., Strawberry — A vehicle accident occurred on Highway 108 near Clarks Fork Road.

4:09 p.m., Columbia — A woman on Northridge Road said two dogs came onto her property and killed some chickens.

5:15 p.m., Groveland — A GPS unit was stolen on Casaretto Court.

6:57 p.m., Sonora area — A man returned to a Mono Way store a few days after allegedly shoplifting at the same location.

7:48 p.m., Columbia — A domestic dispute was occurred at a Broadway Street motel.

8:42 p.m., Jamestown — A group of people fought in the middle of the road on Sixth Avenue.

8:56 p.m., Jamestown — A light pole on Main Street was dented but still operating after a multi-vehicle accident.

SATURDAY

12:32 p.m., Sonora — Christie Angela Derrick, 34, of the 12700 block of Chukar Circle, was booked on suspicion of assault  after an arrest on Chukar Circle.

3:08 p.m., Groveland — Mace Nicholas Lambert, 40, of the 28200 block of Shelter Cove Drive, Santa Clarita, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and doing bodily harm to another individual after an arrest at Evergreen Road near Mather Road.

4:39 p.m., Sonora — Randy Taylor Henington, 59, of the 19500 block of Callahan Street, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon that was not a firearm after an arrest on Truckenmiller Road.

6:56 p.m., Twain Harte — Joe Luis Mendiola, 33, of the 100 block of South Washington Street, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed knife, resisting or obstructing an executive officer and disorderly conduct after an arrest at Eproson Park.

10:44 p.m. Sonora — Roy Allan Chandler, 52, of the 200 block of Sonora Avenue, was booked on suspicion of evading a peace officer and driving recklessly after an arrest at his residence.

11:42 p.m., Jamestown — Brian Keith Robert Barclay, 20, of the 10500 block of Blanchard Road, Coulterville, was booked after an arrest at Highway 49 and Rawhide Road.

SATURDAY

3:30 a.m., Sonora — Devon Mitchell Burton, 19, of the 400 block of Shepard Street, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Sawmill Flat Road at Marcus Drive.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:35 a.m., Valley Springs — A kid on a bicycle on Silver Rapids Road was going through mailboxes. 

10:53 a.m., Douglas Flat — A neighbor on Sugar Pine Way harassed a woman while she cleaned her car. 

3:06 p.m., Angels Camp — A woman on Murphys Grade Road called 911 and told them to “hang on” and she would call them back. 

SATURDAY

Midnight, Arnold — Someone on Julia Lane found their basement door slightly opened and wanted a deputy to check it.

12:55 a.m., Copperopolis —  A woman on Quail Hill Road said she saw someone with a small flashlight run away from her house.

2:24 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone on Gold Creek Drive said three people, one wearing a “Gumby costume” banged on their door.

5:24 p.m., Vallecito — A man on Parrotts Ferry Road said his sister punched him in the face during an argument. 

6:28 p.m., Valley Springs — A woman on Highway 26 removed her neighbor’s Chihuahua from her Alaskan malamute’s mouth.  She was afraid to go outside because the Chihuahua wasn’t moving and her neighbors were yelling. 

9:53 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone on Gold King Drive requested the neighbors turn down their loud music.

FRIDAY

2:03 a.m., Copperopolis — Krystal Lynne Koelling, 34, of the 1400 block of Pebble Beach Way, Arnold, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest on the 12100 block of Cattle Drive. 

4 p.m., San Andreas — David Wayne Kimes, 42, of the 4700 block of Marconi Avenue, Carmichael, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor resisting arrest after an arrest on the 2900 block of Murray Dale Lane.

SATURDAY

10:15 p.m., Valley Springs — James Andrew Loock, 49, of the 400 block of Poplar Street, Lodi, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of tear gas/ other weapon after an arrest at Acorn Campground on Hogan Lake. 

10: 30 p.m., Valley Springs — Dolores Murano Williams, 47, of the 400 block of Poplar Street, Lodi, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at Acorn Campground on Hogan Lake.

FRIDAY 

9 p.m., Valley Springs — Randale Eric Swanson, 50, of the 1700 block of South West Sixth Street, Battle Ground, Wash., was booked after an arrest on South Camanche Parkway and Burson Road. 

11 p.m., Valley Springs — Kimberlie Jean Mendibles, 44, of the 2500 block of Russells Road, San Andreas, was booked after an arrest at Gold Creek Road and Highway 26. 

SATURDAY 

9:10 p.m., Angels Camp — Travis Logan Emerson, 22, of the 200 block of Montgomery Drive was booked after an arrest on the 1100 block of Bret Harte Drive. 

The California Highway Patrol reported the following:

FRIDAY

7:35 a.m., San Andreas — A minor-injury accident occurred on Highway 4 west of Bonanza Mine Road. Debra Parnell, 58, of Modesto, drove a 1998 Mercury at an unsafe speed and fishtailed her travel trailer. She lost control of the vehicle and it struck a 1997 Chevy driven by George Morris, CHP said. Parnell was transported to Mark Twain Medical Center and Morris refused medical treatment. 

SATURDAY

4:55 p.m., San Andreas — A minor-injury motorcycle accident occurred on Highway 49 and Mokelumne Hill. Erik Anaya, 34, of Tulare, was driving a 2013 Honda motorcycle north when his footpeg hit the ground as he was turning. The motorcycle skidded out, overturned and hit a guardrail.

7:30 p.m., San Andreas — A minor-injury accident occurred on Ridge Road north of Rail Road Flat Road. Theodore Erkson, 28, was driving a 1997 Honda Civic along with passengers Ashley Margaritz, 9 and Dusty Berkson, 7, all of San Andreas. Neal Goddard, 58, of Railroad Flat, was stopped in his 1958 Ford flatbed in the roadway. Erkson hit the back of Goddard’s car, CHP said. Erkson and Margaritz were taken by ambulance to Sutter Amador Hospital for minor injuries and Berson was flown to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
