TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:07 a.m., Tuolumne — An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, after deputies responded to a call that five to seven people were drinking in the yard of Summerville Elementary School and being loud by the basketball courts.

12:07 a.m., Twain Harte — A 42-year-old man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication and resisting arrest, after an arrest on the 22300 block of Golf Club Drive.

1:50 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone called to report a $350 metal ping pong table, belonging to the Twain Harte Lake Association, was stolen from a fenced area on the 18100 block of Lakeview Drive.

4:38 p.m., Sonora area — A man on the 24300 block of Kewin Mill Road claimed two women, who were helping him clean his residence, stole his wallet from his dresser.

6:33 p.m., Sonora area — A 18-year-old man was arrested and booked on suspicion of public intoxication and resisting arrest, after deputies responded to the 12700 block of Chukar Circle where three men were reportedly fighting.

TUESDAY

5:22 a.m., Twain Harte — Robert Welcome Adams, 29, of the 23600 block of Highway 108, was booked on suspicion of rape and other assault charges, after an arrest on the 23600 block of Highway 108.

WEDNESDAY

4:08 p.m., West County — Debra June Johnston, 37, of the 4300 block of Abbey Court, Turlock, was arrested on Highway 120 west of Tulloch Road.

8:07 p.m., New Melones area — William Angelo Burningham, 51, of the 20600 block of Wayne Court, Sonora, was arrested at New Melones Bridge.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:07 a.m., vehicle theft — A man said his Toyota pickup was stolen from an apartment complex parking lot on Greenley Road. The pickup is beige, lifted, and has cut-out doors, brown stripes and a 10-inch drop hitch.

11:50 a.m., theft — A woman said an iPhone was stolen from her business on South Washington Street.

1:40 p.m., theft — A woman’s purse was stolen from her shopping cart while her back was turned at a business on Mono Way.

10:14 p.m., public intoxication — A 31-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and a 46-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of a probation violation, after officers responded to a disturbance at a business on Stockton Road.

Fire calls

WEDNESDAY

3:52 p.m., Sonora area — Children playing with fire started a 50-by-50-foot grass on fire, according to Cal Fire. Engines from Standard and Tuolumne County Fire responded. The fire was extinguished by 5:41 p.m.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

2:54 p.m., Arnold — A burglary occurred on Moran Road.

8:08 p.m., Angels Camp — An assault occurred on Robin Lane.

9:05 p.m., San Andreas — Someone called to report vandalism on Sunset Street.

WEDNESDAY

12:46 p.m., Glencoe — Charles Thomas White, 26, of the 6900 block of Cloward Drive, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and drug transportation, after an arrest on the 15000 block of Highway 26.

WEDNESDAY

4:56 p.m., San Andreas — Nicole Michele Hill, 29, of the 2500 block of Burns Road, was arrested on the 100 block of East Saint Charles Street.

11:02 p.m., Copperopolis — Arturo Huerta Dominguez, 28, of the 1700 block of Bruce Drive, Anderson, was arrested at Highway 4 and Telegraph Road.
