WEDNESDAY

7:31 a.m., Sonora — A 33-year-old woman on the 20 block of Lower Sunset was arrested on misdemeanor warrants.

8:58 a.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on the 21000 block of Fern Lane said a purse was stolen a week ago.

10:22 a.m., Quail Hollow — A man on the 12800 block of Chukar Circle said his ex-girlfriend came over, broke things and threw his cellular telephone into nearby berry bushes.

11:20 a.m., Columbia — A man on the 22400 block of Airport Road South said an RV was burglarized overnight.

11:40 a.m., East Sonora — A woman on the 19000 block of Hillsdale Drive said she received seven phone calls in a row from a Canadian collection agency looking for a person who no longer lives at the woman's house. A deputy called the collection agency and told them to stop calling.

12:09 p.m., Jamestown — A caller on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said a man wearing a football jersey was passed out in a white car parked in the apartment complex parking lot with a case of beer next to him.

12:17 p.m., Standard area — A caller said three teens poured bleach onto carpeting at a vacant apartment on the 19900 block of Highway 108.

1:20 p.m., Lime Kiln Road area — A caller said a DVD and video game player along with games and a patio table were taken from a house on the 17000 block of Lime Rock Drive.

3:48 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 18100 block of Sixth Avenue said two cameras in a case were stolen from her house.

4:42 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said a 13-year-old boy pulled a knife on another boy at Jamestown Elementary School gym.

5:13 p.m., Jamestown — A caller at a store on the 18100 block of Main Street said a woman missing some teeth stole a men's western shirt before getting into a black car and driving away.

6:06 p.m., Columbia — A woman on the 22000 block of South Airport Road said her son was in a tree and another boy was throwing rocks at him.

7:09 p.m., Groveland — The manager of Ken's Market said a man threw a large jug of wine on the store floor after the manager refused to take the man's check.

8:08 p.m., Sonora area — A caller said a man was fighting with a woman pushing a baby in a stroller down Shaws Flat Road near Mountain Brow Road. The caller said the man was hitting the woman on the head and trying to grab the baby.

8:52 p.m., Soulsbyville — A caller on Cornucopia Mine Road said drivers are going so fast they are stirring up dirt and rocks in the evening hours.

9:01 p.m., Jamestown Road area — A caller said the driver of a light blue sports car is always speeding down Nashua Road making skid marks.

9:15 p.m., Sonora area — A caller said two girls, about 11 years old, were hitchhiking on Lyons Bald Mountain Road toward Greenley Road. A deputy found them and gave them a ride.

9:24 p.m., Wards Ferry Road area — A caller on the 11000 block of Algerine Road said a man with a shaved head was sitting inside a car with his head down playing music too loud.

10:36 p.m., Standard area — A caller on the 17000 block of Shooting Star Lane said a prowler was outside the house. A deputy checked and found an animal going through a garbage can.

WEDNESDAY

4:48 p.m., Jamestown area — Lesley Laverne Kuhl, 26, 18900 block of Golden Dove Lane, Sonora, booked on a state parole hold and a misdemeanor warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at her home and remained in custody without bail.

5:06 p.m., Sonora — Christie Ann Votaw, 38, 100 block of West Sunset, Sonora, booked on suspicion of petty theft with prior convictions for the same after an arrest at Save Mart on Stockton Road, Sonora. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

11:03 p.m., Sonora — Joseph Jeffrey King, 23, 300 block of Hospital Road, Sonora, booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property and misdemeanor public drunkenness after an arrest in the Timberhills Shopping Center parking lot. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

YESTERDAY

2:07 a.m., Crystal Falls — Robert Joseph Cox, 23, 200 block of Leafwood Court, Suisun, booked on suspicion of being absent without leave from the military, after an arrest on Crystal Falls and Feather River drives. He remained held without bail this morning.

Sonora police reports

WEDNESDAY

7:19 a.m., theft — A caller on the 90 block of Summit Avenue said gasoline was siphoned from his vehicle overnight.

9:28 a.m., fraudulent activities — A caller said a purchase was made at Cost-U-Less by a person using a business account who was not authorized to do so.

11 a.m., traffic accidents — No one was reported injured in a vehicle accident on South Washington and Linoberg streets.

11 a.m., found property — A caller on the 400 block of Greenley Road found drug paraphernalia in an apartment and destroyed it.

12:11 p.m., suspicious circumstances — An employee at Sonora Community Hospital said a person came into the pharmacy with a prescription that appeared altered.

2:33 p.m., traffic accidents — The drivers of a vehicle and U-Haul rental truck involved in a collision on the 2000 block of Sanguinetti Road exchanged information but were not injured.

7:05 p.m., theft — A caller on the 400 block of South Barretta Street said a battery was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

WEDNESDAY

8:33 a.m., Valley Springs — A house on the 3000 block of Hartvickson Lane and vehicles parked there were egged overnight.

8:44 a.m., Arnold — A sign was set on fire on the 900 block of Highway 4.

12:19 p.m., Avery — A caller on the 1000 block of Love Creek Road said someone keeps breaking into the house and drinking alcohol. The last time this happened, the caller left a note telling the thief or thieves to bring orange juice to go along with the alcohol. Then when the caller came back to the cabin, there was a bottle of orange juice in the refrigerator. The caller wanted extra patrol of his house.

5:06 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller said the driver of a pickup was dumping garbage on Hartvickson Lane.

5:25 p.m., West Point — A man on Bald Mountain Road yelled for his neighbors to call 911. When deputies arrived, the man said he had been assaulted but was too drunk to file a report.

9:07 p.m., Camp Connell — A caller said a man wearing dark clothing walking a bicycle on Iroquois Drive was creating a traffic hazard.

10:26 p.m., Valley Springs — A caller said people were at a condemned house on the 2000 block of Double Springs Road running a generator. A deputy talked to the people who said they were just taking measurements and would be leaving.

There were no felony bookings or arrests to report.
