TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:43 a.m., trespassing — A man was heard screaming at someone in an abandoned house on Hospital Road.

5:46 a.m., hazardous situation — A water main leaked on North Shepherd Street.

12:33 p.m., vandalism — A woman’s vehicle was egged on East Jackson Street.

4:39 p.m., theft — A man tried to steal in item from a Sanguinetti Road.

5:30 p.m., vehicle theft — A car was reported missing on Sanguinetti Road.

9:02 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Automatic doors at the South Washington Street post office kept opening and closing by themselves.

SATURDAY

9:01 a.m., suspicious circumstances — Two men tried to start a vehicle with a screwdriver on Old Wards Ferry Road.

10:06 a.m., domestic violence — A man said he was assaulted by an ex-girlfriend, who reportedly hit him in the head with a rock.

1:19 p.m., traffic accident — A vehicle hit a pedestrian on Mono Way.

9:26 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Three men and one woman looked like they were trying to break into power boxes near Sanguinetti Road.

SUNDAY

8:57 a.m., lost and found — Someone on Sanguinetti Road said a “young skinny man” used a stolen identification card. 

2:07 p.m., disorderly conduct — A man on Golden Street said a woman was hacking into his computer and stealing from his Internet. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:30 a.m., Columbia — White goats were seen in the road on Big Hill Road.

9:56 a.m., Sonora area — A man on Callahan Road said he was assaulted by a woman three weeks ago, telling law enforcement she was among a group of squatters he tried to evict from his property.

1:01 p.m., Groveland — A man on Crest Pine Easement said his girlfriend hit him in the face and vandalized his belongings.

1:06 p.m., Sonora area — Garden hoses were cut and stolen from a Rogers Road home.

3:19 p.m., Jamestown — A man on Peppermint Circle reported a fraudulent call from a person claiming to be from the government and wanting to give him a $10,000 reward for paying his taxes.

3:23 p.m., Twain Harte — Neighbors on South Fork Road were concerned about a group of people pumping water from the TUD ditch into the back of a moving truck. The group said they had permission to pump the water.

3:47 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on Ponderosa Drive was mad because a neighbor put a pile of leaves in front of her residence.

4 p.m., Groveland — A non-injury accident was reported on Hemlock Street.

4:44 p.m, Sonora area — Two suspicious men were seen on Sierra Meadows Drive and Jamestown Road in a red ice cream truck playing music possibly casing the neighborhood.

11:23 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said someone in a truck pulled a gun on her while she was driving on J-59.

SATURDAY

7:39 a.m., Twain Harte — Two people were seen pumping water from the TUD ditch on South Fork Road. The men reportedly had permission to take the water.

8:56 a.m., Sonora area — Neighbors on Comstock Ranch Road suspected a white vehicle seen cruising through the neighborhood of casing the houses.

10 a.m., Sonora area — A horse was tangled in a fence on Jamestown Road.

10:39 a.m., Jamestown — About 180 feet of copper wire was stolen from the water gauging station at the Tulloch power house on Tulloch Road.

10:56 a.m., Groveland — Law enforcement attempted to contact individuals and investigate a reported sexual assault at on Mather Road.

11:49 a.m., Sonora area — A fire was reported west of Keltz Mine Road.

2:46 p.m., Sonora area — Two goats were seen in the road near Lime Kiln Road.

3:15 p.m., Jamestown — A woman and her mother were arguing over an EBT card on Seco Street.

6:09 p.m., Columbia — Law enforcement was looking near Parrotts Ferry Road for a suspect of a reported assault. The suspect reportedly smashed the back of a vehicle window with a machete on Camp Nine Road.

6:37 p.m., East Sonora — Someone broke into a house on Via Este and stole a car parked in the garage.

9:58 p.m., Groveland — Several young men fought on Highway 120.

10:48 p.m., Jamestown — A group of day-use campers caused a disturbance on the South Shore of Lake Tulloch and refused to leave.

SUNDAY

12:53 a.m., Jamestown — Someone was heard playing drums behind the Jamestown Post Office. The noise turned out to be music from a nearby bar.

9:12 a.m., Lake Tulloch — A man at a campground on Tulloch Dam Road was advised that he was “no longer wanted” on the property. 

5:52 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Barlupi Circle said she did not think her 82-year-old father should have a loaded gun at his house. 

6:13 p.m., Lake Tulloch — A father at Lake Tulloch sat back and let his 8-year-old drive his watercraft. 

7:06 p.m., Sonora area — A 14-year-old on Grace Way said her dad hit her hat off so she slapped him in the face. She was advised her parents have the right to discipline her.

2:29 p.m., Sonora area — Andrew William Mellott, 45, of the 21700 block of Robin Hill Road, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of false imprisonment after an arrest on Tuolumne Road at Mono Way. 

SUNDAY

9:28 a.m., Sonora — Katrina Marie Guthrey, 24, transient, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest on the 600 block of South Washington Street. 

1:33 p.m., Jamestown — Stephanie Danielle Holt, 32, transient, was booked on suspicion of vehicle theft and burglary after an arrest on the 18100 block of Main Street.

12:13 a.m., Sonora — Lewis Medina Flores II, 23, of the 1300 block of Preston Lane, Jamestown, was booked after an arrest on Washington Street.

2:30 p.m., Jamestown — David Eugene Mays, 29, of the 18200 block of Carlin Lane, was booked after an arrest on Rawhide Road.

6:51 p.m., Jamestown — Gary Lee Markley, 59, of the 19400 block of Rocky Road, was booked after an arrest on Rawhide Road.

7:03 p.m., Sonora — Stephanie Danielle Daniels, 26, of the 2000 block of Hickory Court, Modesto, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108.

7:53 p.m., Jamestown — Scott William Canning, 44, of the 18900 block of Ranch Road, Sonora, was booked after an arrest of Fifth and Eighth avenues.

11:20 a.m., Jamestown — Joseph Frank McGee, 19, of the 22300 block of Conklin Trail, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Fifth Avenue.

11:31 p.m., Sonora — Emilio Garcia Jr., 40, of the 3900 block of Colt Way, Riverbank, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108.

3:41 a.m., Twain Harte — Andrew Michael Terrazas, 18, of the 21400 block of Green Meadow Lane, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 at Twain Harte Drive.

8:08 p.m., Jamestown — Cody James Horton, 21, of 11600 block of Mammoth Mine Road, was booked after an arrest on Fifth Avenue.

9:38 p.m., Sonora — Fredrick Ryan Herbert, 65, listed as a transient, was booked after an arrest on Crystal Falls Road.

11:32 p.m., Sonora — Jefferson Garcia Cometa, 50, of the 2400 block of Oves Street, Modesto, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 at Mono Way.

3:10 p.m., Jamestown — Jamie Marie Viglienzoni, 33, of the 21800 block of Ferretti Road, Groveland, was booked after an arrest at Main and Seco streets.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

11:37 a.m., Valley Springs — Chains were cut on two fences and several large items stolen on Walker Trail. 

12:05 p.m., Angels Camp — Students were going to fight at a fast food restaurant on South Main Street. 

1:20 p.m., San Andreas — A catalytic converter was stolen from a parked car on Lewis Avenue.

7:33 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A two stroke motorcycle went up and down Jesus Maria Road.

10:45 p.m., Copperopolis — Someone on Iroquois Drive said they heard their doorknob “jiggle.”

3:26 a.m., Arnold — A man on Longman Lane said his neighbor stole items from his house. He later “conceded” he may have misplaced the items. 

7:27 a.m., Murphys — An arrest was made on Oak Tree Circle after a woman said there was a man sleeping in her house. 

9:48 a.m., Copperopolis — A man on Pamo Court said his ex-wife was in his garage. 

SUNDAY

7:50 p.m., Valley Springs — A woman on Redman Road called 911 and said she tried to dial another number and did not know how she got 911.

2:21 p.m. West Point — Robert Charles Carll, 40, of the 1000 block of Winton Road, was booked on suspicion of violating terms of an alternate sentence after an arrest at his home. 

SATURDAY

11:38 a.m., Copperopolis — Dorothy Diane Johnson, 46, of the 2100 block of Donna Street, Las Vegas, was booked on suspicion of drug possession for sale after an arrest at O’Byrnes Ferry and Spangler roads. 

12:35 p.m., Valley Springs — Sean Gregory Shultz, 29, of the 100 block of Chestnut Street, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest at his home.
