TUOLUMNE COUNTY

 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

 

FRIDAY

2:39 a.m., theft — A stolen vehicle was recovered on Greenley Road.

1:05 p.m., parking citation — Three men harassed customers and parked in a handicapped parking spot at a Mono Way business.

4:45 p.m., liquor violation — Someone called police to report a clerk inside a Mono Way grocery store handing out free beer. Further investigation revealed the store is allowed to offer tasting samples and the woman was with a private company contracted with the business.

6:32 p.m., traffic accident — A non-injury collision occurred at Gold and South Stewart streets.

 

SATURDAY

11:55 a.m., vandalism — A woman was breaking windows out of a man’s vehicle on Sanguinetti Road.

12:37 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Two men were seen crouching down behind a Sanguinetti Road store.

12:38 p.m., traffic accident — The driver of a motorcycle was injured in an accident on South Washington and Lytton streets.

9:17 p.m., hazardous situation — A woman with white hair wearing white pajama bottoms was seen in the road on West Stockton Street stopping traffic to chase after her dog.

 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

 

FRIDAY

11:36 a.m., La Grange — A storage unit was broken into near Don Pedro reservoir, with power tools possibly stolen.

11:56 a.m. Long Barn — A man on North Fork Road said his vehicle was stolen.

12:08 p.m., Jamestown — A fight between two adults was reported in front a Fifth Avenue school.

12:39 p.m., Jamestown — A barn on Circle Drive was broken into.

4 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Honey Locust Court said his neighbor received calls from someone claiming to be from a publishing company asking for $6,000 so his neighbor could win $50,000.

4:21 p.m., Soulsbyville —  An employee at a health care facility on Rafferty Court reported possible theft of medication from residents.

5:37 p.m., Columbia — Neighbors on Gunsight Road were arguing over a trailer parked in front of a neighbor’s driveway.

7:13 p.m., Jamestown — A man on Hog Mountain Road said someone put an illegal, 40-foot antenna on his property.

8:01 p.m., Sonora area — A woman shoplifted from a Mono Way store and left the property.

8:29 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Old Wards Ferry Road said a neighbor was yelling and screaming about not liking the smell of her horses.

10:39 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said she was assaulted by another woman who punched and kicked her at a Mono Way shopping center.

 

SATURDAY

8:50 a.m., Sonora area — A homeless man was sleeping in the hallway of a Hess Avenue hotel.

9:15 a.m., Tulloch Lake — Two kids flipped their canoe on Lake Tulloch.

9:48 a.m., Jamestown — A man wearing a gray hoodie and sunglasses was seen standing in the middle of O’Byrnes Ferry Road, screaming about missiles.

10:25 a.m., Soulsbyville — Fireworks were reported on Sherry Court.

1:15 p.m., Columbia — A woman said her black dog jumped out of the back of her truck and ran off on Parrotts Ferry Road.

2:51 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Mono Way said someone broke into her residence by breaking the bedroom window and stole a television, game console and several games.

3:35 p.m., La Grange — A fire was reported in the boat yard on Bonds Flat Road.

4:22 p.m., Sonora area — A woman wearing an ankle bracelet reportedly stole earrings and a ring from a Mono Way store.

6:28 p.m., Sonora area — A fire was reported at a garbage pile on Callahan Lane.

6:55 p.m., Sonora area — A man said his wife threw hot coffee and a mug at his face on South Bear Clover Court.

8 p.m., Twain Harte — Employees and customers at a Fuller Road business complained about electric guitar music being played at a nearby restaurant.

10:24 p.m., Sonora area — Someone was possibly on the roof of a mobile home on Tuolumne Road.

 

SUNDAY

1:11 a.m., Sonora area — A man threatened to shoot through a door on Sparrow Lane.

4:44 a.m., Twain Harte — A man was passed out on the side of Joaquin Gully Road and covered in his own urine.

7:49 a.m., Jamestown — A man was sleeping in the post office on Main Street.

8:21 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on Apple Colony Road needed assistance lifting her boyfriend. 

12:32 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Willow Street said at 3 a.m. someone blew a horn near her bedroom window. 

2:07 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Grouse Way said a man harassed her and yelled something about a “superior race.”

8:05 p.m., Sonora area — A woman told another woman on Lane Court she was going “snap her skinny little neck.”

9:56 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Callahan Road said his neighbor punched him in the stomach. 

 

MONDAY

12:04 a.m., Jamestown — A 16-year-old on Dante Drive said her mother kicked her out of the house and would not let her back in.

FRIDAY

12:42 a.m., Jamestown — David Miles Moss, 51, of the 13900 block of Seventh Street, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and driving under the influence after an arrest at Main Street and Highway 49.

6:20 p.m., Columbia — Dale Curtis Blair, 61, of the 10400 block of Mount Brow Road, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road on Springfield Road.

8 p.m., Jamestown — Mark Lane Alderson, 54, of the 14000 block of Lulu Mine Road, was booked after an arrest on Jacksonville Road.

11:12 p.m., Strawberry — Rhonda Lynn Sequeira, 43, of the 2300 block of Oakdale Road, Modesto, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 near Pinecrest Lake.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

 

FRIDAY

8:04 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — A flyer was left on a vehicle on Old School Way. 

11:13 a.m., Arnold — Someone on Fern Way heard a woman scream obscenities. 

4:43 p.m., Valley Springs — A “vulgar” note was left on a gate door on Hartvickson Lane. 

5:43 p.m., Murphys — A woman on Highway 4 and Tom Bell Road was panhandling. 

11:05 p.m., San Andreas — Someone at Neilson Park on Main Street thought a vehicle was suspicious because it backed into a parking space. 

 

SATURDAY

1:28 a.m., Angels Camp — A woman on Blair Mine Road said someone was throwing “tiny pebbles” at her windows. 

10:16 a.m., West Point — A ride-on mower and tools were stolen on Bald Mountain Road. 

12:26 a.m., Copperopolis — A man on Copper Grade Highway 4 made strange statements. 

 

SUNDAY

8:41 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — A man and his dog camped behind a cemetery on West Center Street. They were advised to find a legal camp spot.

11:19 p.m., Valley Springs — A man on Crest Court went to a residence and asked if he could borrow a computer.

12:00 a.m., Angels Camp — Virginia Kathleen White, 36, of the 400 block of Wood Avenue, Oakdale, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on Highway 49 at Whittle Road. 

8: 37 p.m., Copperopolis — Jeremy James Gerlach, 38, of the 16500 block of Crestridge Avenue, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty, and misdemeanor drug possession, concealing evidence, driving under the influence and resisting arrest after an arrest on McCarthy and Stone streets.

9:10 p.m., Angels Camp — Joshua David Jones, 37, of the first block of West Saint Charles Street, San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on South Main Street at Stockton Road.

9:10 p.m., Angels Camp — Sunshine Nicole Nordstrom, 33, of the first block of West Saint Charles Street, San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on South Main Street at Stockton Road. 

10:22 p.m., Angels Camp — Michael Shayne Bush, 48, of the 1500 block of Sonora Street, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest at his home. 

 

SUNDAY

2:34 a.m., Copperopolis — Brittany Rae Hicks, 30, of the 20600 block of Willow Springs Drive, Soulsbyville, was booked on suspicion of assault, making criminal threats, assault with a deadly weapon, and misdemeanor driving under the influence after an arrest at Lake Tulloch.

11:15 a.m., Ione — Bernie Adam Mazo, 42, of the 5000 block of Kimball Hill Circle, Stockton, was booked on suspicion of carrying and concealing a loaded gun after an arrest on the 2000 block of Camanche Road.

6:10 p.m., Ione — Jose Roberto Arroyo, 29, of the 200 block of East Tokay Street, Lodi, was booked after an arrest on the 2000 block of Camanche Road. 

7:33 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Tyler Allen Gress, 21, of the 2900 block of Heinemann Street, Valley Springs, was booked after an arrest at Railroad Flat and Mountain Ranch roads.

9:30 p.m.,  Valley Springs  —  Jason Orin Smith, 40, of the 8600 block of Mann Street, Jenny Lind, was booked after an arrest on New Hogan Lake. 

 

The California Highway Patrol reported the following: 

 

SUNDAY

6:50 p.m., San Andreas — Tyler Gress, of Railroad Flat, was transported to Mark Twain Medical Center for moderate injuries when his 2006 Chevy Cobalt veered right and collided with a fence on Railroad Flat Road, east of Sheep Ranch Road. Gress said he lost control of his car when he attempted to avoid hitting a squirrel. Gress was booked into Calaveras County Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol after treatment at the hospital.
