The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


9:04 a.m., traffic violations — A 29-year-old man on Sanguinetti Road was cited for driving without registration, unlawful display of false registration and driving on a suspended or revoked license. His vehicle was towed.

9:10 a.m., warrant arrests — A 28-year-old man was arrested on South Washington Street and booked into Tuolumne County Jail for a misdemeanor battery warrant.

11:19 a.m., warrant arrests — A 32-year-old man was arrested on Sanguinetti Road and booked into Tuolumne County Jail for a misdemeanor theft warrant.

4:47 p.m., theft — A wallet was stolen at a business on South Washington Street.

11:30 p.m., public intoxication — A woman woke up and found an unknown naked man on the couch at her Mono Way residence. The man, 25, was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:26 a.m., Sonora area — A lawn tractor was reported stolen on Florence Way.

9:14 a.m., Columbia — A chain saw was missing from a security house at a business on Marble Quarry Road. A theft report was filed.

10:24 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Someone attempted to steal diesel fuel from a truck at a business on Lama Road.

5:57 p.m., East Sonora — A tire was slashed on a vehicle parked at a shopping center on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

Felony bookings


12:19 p.m., Jamestown — Randall Owen Ghione, 31, of the 18300 block of Main Street, was booked on suspicion of burglary and forgery, after an arrest at his home.

5:36 p.m., Sonora — Samantha Elizabeth Lamb, 31, of the 21800 block of West Crystal Falls Drive, Soulsbyville, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Mono and Restano ways.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


8:57 p.m., Twain Harte — Jeremy Eugene Robertson, 35, of the 23000 block of Fuller Road, was arrested at Black Hawk and Highland drives.

9:05 p.m., Jamestown area — Sudish Kumar, 47, of the 2300 block of Southridge Drive, Modesto, was arrested at Highway 108 near Yosemite Junction.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:43 a.m., San Andreas — A man was sleeping in a snack shop on Mountain Ranch Road.

11:25 a.m., Arnold — A person appeared to be hiding behind bushes on Highway 4.

2:06 p.m., Arnold — Someone was sleeping in a shed on Highway 4.

5:19 p.m., Jenny Lind — People on Scenic Valley Drive were in a dispute over a dog.


12:05 a.m., Angels Camp — Someone jumped in front of a truck at Highway 4 and Rolleri Bypass Road. The driver swerved to miss the person.

12:24 p.m., San Andreas — Shannon Kay Clougherty, 26, of the 200 block of Highway 12, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion possessing drugs for sale, transporting drugs, using a hidden compartment to conceal or transport drugs and drug possession, after an arrest on the 700 block of Pool Station Road.

11:22 p.m., Angels Camp — Marshellia Butler, 34, of Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of possessing concentrated marijuana, after an arrest on the 500 block of North Main Street.

12:07 p.m., San Andreas — Michael Roger Lewis, 31, of the 5900 block of Dunn Road, Valley Springs, was arrested on Pool Station Road south of Highway 49.
