The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


9:46 a.m., Valley Springs — A customer reportedly caused a scene and shattered a candy dish at a business on Highway 26.

1:30 p.m., Valley Springs — A citation was issued for vandalism at Toyon Middle School.

2:04 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Petty theft was reported on Whiskey Slide Road.

2:38 p.m., Arnold — Someone flagged down an officer to point out a van that had been on Blagen Road and Highway 4 all day.

3:06 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Burglary was reported on Ponderosa Way. 

5:19 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Someone reported trespassers camping on a property on Baker Riley Way. 

6:22 p.m., Arnold — Shoplifting was reported at a business on the 2100 block of Highway 4. 

7:52 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — An arrest was made after a woman reported her son was drunk and belligerent on Center Street.

8:17 p.m., Tamarack — Someone was outside yelling for 15 minutes at Eagle Lane and Highway 4.

10:13 p.m., Angels Camp — Two men were seen on top of a business on East Saint Charles Street. 

10:26 p.m., Vallecito — Someone on Juniper Drive reported a person running around with a butcher knife, and the caller kept pleading for help before disconnecting. Officers determined the call was unfounded and arrested someone for public intoxication.

1:02 a.m., San Andreas — Michael Edward Garcia III, 30, of the 600 block of Marshall Avenue, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Lewis Avenue and Pope Street.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


3:31 p.m., theft — Someone reported that a woman stole cigarettes from a business on Mono Way. An officer contacted the caller and it was determined not to be theft, but a civil matter. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


11:54 a.m., Jamestown — Someone reported neighbors won’t stop harassing their family on Wigwam Road.

12:01 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village —A man reported that his credit card was fraudulently charged at an Apple store in Portland, Ore. 

1:21 p.m., Tuolumne — Credit card fraud was reported on Tuolumne Road North.

2:20 p.m., Jamestown — A man reported that his daughter was drunk and causing a disturbance on Seco Street. 

3:13 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said he someone threatened to beat him up outside a business on the 22900 block of Joaquin Gully Road.

4:05 p.m., Jamestown — An iPad Mini was reported stolen from a business on Highway 108.

5:36 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said she chased off a vehicle with two people inside because she was concerned they would start a fire on Red Heather Drive. She also told law enforcement she was fed up with trash dumping, drug use and other illegal activities in the area, and officers said they were aware of the issues and would patrol there more.

5:56 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said her trash cans were taken from the side of her house on Mark Twain Drive. They were previously tampered with, she said.

5:56 p.m., Sonora — A man on Camino Del Parque North said he was scammed out of more than $1,700.


3:24 a.m., Columbia — A man said his drunk girlfriend was not letting him leave on Bullpine Lane. Officers mediated and they both stayed. 

7:41 a.m., Sonora — A woman reported her son was bitten by a dog at Mountain View Road and Fir Drive.
