The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


2:04 p.m., Jenny Lind — A citizen on Thompson Way filed a crime report for fraud.

7:20 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone was attempting to kick down the door to a vacant residence on Sequoia Avenue.

10:39 p.m., Douglas Flat — A report was taken for suspicious circumstances on Ironwood Court.

11:57 p.m., Angels Camp — Taeler Marshal Polonus, 25, of the 2800 block of Braden Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, after an arrest at South Main Street and Stanislaus Avenue.


1:09 a.m., Valley Springs — Luis Arias-Jacobo, 57, of the 200 block of Myrtle Street, was booked on suspicion of resisting an executive officer, after an arrest at his home.

4 p.m., San Andreas — Jennifer Erin Eubanks, 32, of the 7400 block of Baldwin Street, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of using a false compartment to store, conceal or transport drugs, after an arrest on the 500 block of East Saint Charles Street.

5:17 p.m.,  Angels Camp — Dearris Terral Riley, 25, of the 1800 block of South Main Street, was booked on suspicion of resisting an executive officer, after an arrest on at Clifton Lane and Highway 49.

7:42 p.m., Angels Camp — Robert Mason Comstock, 62, of the 400 block of Gelding Road, was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, after an arrest at his home.

8:45 p.m., Angels Camp — Bart Alan Yool, 59, of the 5100 block of Shetland Court, was arrested at Highway 4 and Angels Oaks Road.


The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


1:04 p.m., fraudulent activities — Someone reported the fraudulent use of a Social Security card on Southgate Drive.

2:27 p.m., animal complaints — A homeless couple was walking around town with an injured dog. An officer spoke with the couple at a business on South Washington Street and advised them that they could be arrested if seen walking the dog around while its injured.

3:49 p.m., school assists — Someone reported that a mother at Sonora High School was causing a disturbance with her daughter present. Officers arrived on scene, determined everything was OK and left. No further police action was requested.

5:24 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A customer at a lingerie store on South Washington Street called 911 to report a suspicious man inside the store. The man left prior to the arrival of an officer. The business owner did not request any further action.

5:47 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man said he passed by two men while driving on Hospital Road who were trying to flag him down. One man was limping and the other man was helping him. An officer checked Hospital Road, Greenley Road and the lobby at Sonora Regional Medical Center but was unable to locate the men.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


9:23 a.m., East Sonora — Someone bought $56 worth of pizza on Mono Way and paid with a fraudulent credit card.

10:54 a.m., Sonora area — A Hidden Valley Road woman was concerned about her neighbor shooting at peacocks.

11:47 a.m., Sonora area — A 34-year-old woman was booked into Tuolumne County Jail on suspicion of public intoxication after an arrest at South Washington Street and Hospital Road.

1:39 p.m., Groveland — The postmaster at the Groveland Post Office on Back Street said a customer shoved a package in a clerk’s face and told her that it “better get to where it’s going.” He allegedly told the clerk that he wasn’t threatening the government, just her.

2:32 p.m., Columbia — Someone’s 3-year-old child was running around alone outside of apartments on State Street.

8:36 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — Jacob Ray Skinner, 21, of the 23800 block of Pine Lake Drive, Mi-Wuk Village, was arrested on Fortuna Mine Road.
