The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
3:07 p.m., Sheep Ranch — Theft of sheep was reported on Main Street, but the animal was later located.
4:44 p.m., Arnold — Someone was sleeping in one of the sheds at a golf course on Highway 4.
5:24 p.m., Murphys — Someone broke into a man’s truck on Quiet Place and rifled through the compartment between the seats.
10:25 p.m., San Andreas — A customer was bothering an employee at a business on West St. Charles Street.
10:52 p.m., Copperopolis — A vehicle was burglarized on Bret Harte Drive.
12:42 a.m., Valley Springs — People were loitering near a vehicle in a driveway on Sequoia Avenue.
Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:
1:04 p.m., Angels Camp — Joshua John Fernandes, 26, of the 1000 block of Pinto Drive, was arrested at highways 4 and 49.
6:18 p.m., Avery — Jack Isaac Hume, 62, of the 100 block of Sheep Ranch Road, was arrested at Highway 4 and Red Tail Hawk Road.
The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
10:08 a.m., found property — A wallet with ID and cell phone were left in Sonora City Hall’s mailbox. The owner picked up her wallet at the Sonora Police Department, but she said the cell phone did not belong to her.
11:51 a.m., suspected theft — A woman at apartments on Greenley Road said she suspected a package was taken off her porch. She contacted the Post Office and found out it wasn’t supposed to arrive until Tuesday.
12:31 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on East Live Oak Drive said she could her people on her porch and walking around outside her home. A police officer checked the area and determined it was clear.
7:58 p.m., battery — A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery after someone witnessed him shove a woman twice outside a bar on South Washington Street.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
8:35 a.m., Jamestown — A correctional sergeant at Sierra Conservation Center state prison on O’Byrnes Ferry Road reported that her state issued ID card was lost or stolen. Law enforcement agencies in the area were advised to confiscate the ID and notify SCC if anyone attempts to use it.
11:28 a.m., Twain Harte — Vehicles parked at Confidence South Fork and South Fork roads were vandalized while the owners were using nearby trails.
12:11 p.m., Sonora area — A woman allegedly put a cigarette out in man’s face while he was dropping her off on Soulsbyville Road. He didn’t want to press charges, so she was transported to her home.
12:58 p.m., Columbia — Someone reported possible drug activity at a residence on Parrotts Ferry Road. The matter was forwarded to the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Narcotics Team.
2:41 p.m., Jamestown — Someone on Peppermint Circle reported credit card fraud.
3:29 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on Michigan Drive reported three scam phone calls. A man claimed he was from Medicare and requested her personal information.
4:47 p.m., East Sonora — A man wearing red clothing was near the overpass at Highway 108 and Mono Way and a concerned citizen thought he was going to jump. The man was not located when deputies arrived.
5:12 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Coyote Meadow Road reported a possible scam involving a man on Facebook who told her that he knew her personal information. She was advised not to reply because it could be a trick to get her to voluntarily reveal more information.
5:14 p.m., Sonora area — A vehicle was damaged on Bay Meadow Drive. The windshield was broken and rear view mirror ripped off.
8:13 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said her neighbor was drunk outside her residence on Martingale Lane.
10:02 p.m., Columbia — A woman’s telephone was stolen from a restroom at Columbia College on Columbia College Drive. The woman tracked the phone using its GPS feature to a residence on the 19700 block of Ivy Drive. A report was filed.
3:11 p.m., Columbia — Brennen Scott Gardner, 22, of the 22500 block of Upper Quail Mine Road, was booked on suspicion of having sex with a minor more than three years younger, after an arrest at his home.
7:42 p.m., Sonora area — Janice Lisa Thompson, 50, of the 24000 block of Kewin Mill Road, was booked on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm, after an arrest on the 22900 block of Kewin Mill Road.
