The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:



9:34 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A man was walking down Whiskey Slide Road carrying a bat.

4:12 p.m., Angels Camp — A man in a red shirt and blue tennis shorts threw his bike into the road at South Main Street and Mark Twain Road. 

11:37 p.m., Angels Camp — A woman said there were people outside a South Main Street business making a lot of noise. She asked them when they would be done, and they told her three to four hours, and if she didn’t like that, then go call police.




The Sonora Police Department reported the following:



4:49 p.m., theft — Someone attempted to steal a shopping cart full of food from a business on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

7:45 p.m., suspicious circumstance — A man was parked at an Alpine Lane parking lot trying to unlock a car door. Officers provided him with the phone number to a tow truck company.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:



1:16 p.m., Columbia — A woman on Dolly Lane said that someone called her and said that she owed a bank money, and that she had to pay or be arrested. She sent the caller money and realized that it was a scam. 

4:54 p.m., Sonora area — A man reported that he did not want to go back to his apartment on Sparrow Lane because his roommate has shady friends and he is afraid of him. 

7:26 p.m., East Sonora  — Someone said a tree was blocking the road at Phoenix Lake Road and Hess Avenue.

8:12 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said that they were followed by a woman in her car into a parking lot on the 10000 block of Highway 108. 

9:16 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman said someone was tapping on her window at her home on Canyonview Drive. 

9:17 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Someone reported that a tree fell on their home on Lama Road. They were out of the home and no one was injured. 


Felony bookings



2:30 p.m.. Sonora area — Joshua Loy Cockerham, 34, of the 21000 block of Phoenix Lake Road, was booked on suspicion of manufacturing drugs, after an arrest at his home. 




Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:



12:41 a.m.,  Jamestown — Denise Michelle Ramage, 38, of the first block of Dossi Way, Sonora, was booked after an arrest at Highway 120 and O’Byrnes Ferry Road.
