CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY
8:56 a.m., Arnold — Burglary occurred on Blagen Road.
10:53 a.m., Valley Springs — Forgery was reported on California Street.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY
12 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Derek John Squires, 22, of the 9400 block of Jesus Maria Road, was booked on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sales and selling marijuana, after an arrest on Main Street.
2:50 p.m., San Andreas — Harold Marvin Turner III, 45, of the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road, was booked on suspicion of grand theft, after an arrest on the 1000 block of Highway 12.
10:38 p.m., Arnold — Joshua John Fernandes, 24, of the 2500 block of Mokelumne Drive West, was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, after an arrest at his home.


TUOLUMNE COUNTY
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

TUESDAY
10:06 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road said someone was stealing plants and lights from her home and scratching her vehicle.
1:20 p.m., Columbia — Someone on the 22700 block of Main Street reported check fraud.
3:38 p.m., Jamestown — A residence on the 17700 block of Red Oak Drive was burglarized while the owner was on a five-day trip and several items were taken. The suspect gained entry through a locked garage door.
Felony bookings

TUESDAY
3 a.m., Jamestown — James Ryan Edwards, 23, of the 4000 block of Marconi Avenue, Sacramento, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on Harvard Mine Road at Highway 108.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY
5:15 p.m., traffic accidents — A hit-and-run accident occurred at the intersection of South Green Street and West Bradford Avenue. The suspect vehicle was last seen on Stockton Road. A witness found the license plate belonging to the suspect in the roadway.
10:21 p.m., theft — A stereo face plate was stolen from a locked truck on Golden Street sometime in the past two weeks.
