TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

5:20 p.m., theft — A pair of gloves was stolen from a store on Mono Way.

11:14 p.m., public peace — The driver of a white SUV was honking the horn while driving into town on Shaws Flat Road. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

SATURDAY

2:24 a.m., burglary — A man allegedly stole several items from a Sanguinetti Road business and drove away.

5:35 p.m., animal complaint — A woman said two men were in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot with a dog she believed they couldn’t afford.

6:16 p.m., theft — A woman at Oakside Drive and Hope Lane said clothes and a GPS device were stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

9:04 p.m., theft — A woman said a purse was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle parked in a Mono Way business parking lot.

SUNDAY

3:18 p.m., civil problem — A woman on Ponderosa Drive said her landlord almost ran her over while she was walking. Officers determined it was a civil problem.

3:50 p.m., fraudulent activities — A woman on Pine Street reported fraudulent charges for pornographic movies that she didn’t rent. Her cable company had advised her to file a police report.

4:15 p.m., suspicious circumstances — While an officer was investigating fraudulent purchases of pornographic movies on Pine Street, he noticed a yellow mo-ped parked in a yard which matched the description of one that was previously reported stolen. Photos were taken of the vehicle.

6:43 p.m., reckless driving — A woman said she saw a man stumble to a vehicle on South Washington Street and drive away. Officers stopped the vehicle and determined the man had been stumbling due to a medical condition.

8:30 p.m., assault — An 80-year-old patient assaulted an employee at a nursing home on Fairview Lane.

8:39 p.m., theft — Someone stole money from a South Barretta Street resident through the victim’s video game account.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

7:11 a.m., Tuolumne — A deputy was requested to investigate a report of counterfeit bills at Black Oak Casino.

7:56 a.m., Twain Harte — A resident reported a fight over a Middle Camp-Sugar Pine Road neighbor shooting BB guns.

9:40 a.m., Mi Wuk Village — A burglary was reported on Lama Road Hisum involving entry through an unlocked window and stolen miscellaneous items.

9:40 a.m., Columbia — Someone stole a coffee pot and tampered with mail at the business on Jackson Street.

10:43 a.m., Sonora area — Tables were stolen from a restaurant on Avenida Bonita.

12:05 p.m., Twain Harte — A man was smoking marijuana in a Jeep on Lakeview Drive.

2:24 p.m., Sonora area — A Valley Oak Drive trailer owner said a propane tank cover and propane bottle were missing, and some of his mail had been opened.

2:29 p.m., Columbia — A burglary was reported on Sawmill Flat Road, with a video game system and games missing.

3:24 p.m., Jamestown — A necklace and earrings were stolen from a display case in a Main Street store.

3:57 p.m., Sonora area — A fire was reported on Serrano Road.

5:05 p.m., Sonora area — A chimney fire was reported on Hillside Drive.

6:19 p.m., Columbia — A Rochester Court resident reported several tools taken from a garage in a burglary.

8:44 p.m., Sonora area — A Chukar Circle man reported a fight with his girlfriend and said she threw their puppy across the room. He said she also punched him and threw objects at him.

11:09 p.m., Yosemite area — A possible fire was reported on Hardin Flat Road.

SATURDAY

12:49 a.m., Jamestown — Teenagers were smoking pot in a Chicken Ranch Road parking lot.

5 a.m., Jamestown — Several open mailboxes were reported on Jeanese Drive.

6:36 a.m., Groveland — A Ferretti Road resident reported multiple fraudulent charges on a credit card.

9:12 a.m., Twain Harte — A South Fork Road resident reported fraudulent activity on a bank card.

11:27 a.m., Tuolumne — A large, rowdy party involving campers in the Stanislaus National Forest was reported at Mount Lewis.

12:06 p.m., Columbia — Emergency responders were called to Parrotts Ferry Road and Airport Road for a vehicle vs. golf cart accident.

12:26 p.m., Sonora area — A Covey Circle resident said her drunk roommate was causing a disturbance and threw her on the floor.

3:35 p.m., Sonora area — Three teenage girls stole multiple items from a Mono Way retail store.

4:12 p.m., Strawberry — Fireworks were suspected as the cause of acrid smoke near Old Strawberry Road.

5:53 p.m., La Grange — Suspicious activity was reported at a Zarzamora Street residence, with people walking around the property with flashlights. Further investigation revealed the people on the property were the owners.

8:43 p.m., Pinecrest — A disagreement took place over parking spaces in front of the Pinecrest Resort.

SUNDAY

8:35 a.m., Twain Harte — A vehicle for Twain Harte’s Head Start pre-school program was broken into and stripped on Twain Harte Drive.

10:14 a.m., Sonora area — A Eureka Drive resident reported the theft of a white iPhone 4S device in a yellow-and-black case.

4:47 p.m., Sonora area — A robbery occurred at Grouse Way and Chukar Circle.

6:23 p.m., Sonora area — Vandals spray-painted obscene language in the front office of a mobile home park on Wards Ferry Road. The caller said there has been an ongoing issue with graffiti appearing on vehicles in the park.

6:48 p.m., Jamestown — Someone said a table was intentionally set on fire next to a business on Main Street. Cal Fire responded to investigate.

9:04 p.m., East Sonora — Someone smashed in both windows on the driver’s side of an employee’s car that was parked at a business on Mono Way and stole various music CD’s, two bags of clothing and some cosmetics.

9:15 p.m., Sonora area — A woman in the emergency room at Sonora Regional Medical Center said she was assaulted by a family member but refused to give any information or a name.

MONDAY 

7:37 a.m., Twain Harte — A white 2006 Ford F450 pickup, license plate No. 8D83384, with “Lovett Excavating” written on both doors, was stolen from Tuolumne Road North about 11 p.m. Sunday.

3:34 a.m., Jamestown — Roberto Garcia Jr., 43, of the 1600 block of Holm Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs for sale, after an arrest at 16929 Chicken Ranch Road.

4:07 p.m., Sonora — Matthew Eugene Carlile, 32, a transient, was booked on suspicion of false impersonation of another person in his or her private or official capacity, after an arrest on 1101 Sanguinetti Road, Sonora.

4:11 p.m., Sonora — Vernell Joy Stokes, 37, of the 16700 block of Big HIll Road, Sonora, was booked on possession of a controlled substance, after an arrest at 1101 Sanguinetti Road.

9:20 p.m., Jamestown — Helena Suzanne Funk, 45, of the 13000 block of Plaza Oriente Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of burglary, after an arrest at 16929 Chicken Ranch Road.

SATURDAY

9:45 p.m., Sonora area — Lisa Marie Ewen, 48, of the 18700 block of Highway 108, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of transportation and/or sale of a controlled substance, after an arrest at Tuolumne Road and Hess Avenue.

8:27 p.m., Sonora — Miles Damian Aguiar, 23, of the 400 block of Morning Star Court, Sonora, was arrested at Highway 49 and O’Hara Drive.

12:46 p.m., Sonora area — Tony Cisneros, 34, of the 5000 block of Clayton Road, Concord, was arrested at Highway 49 and Rawhide Road.

10 p.m., Twain Harte — Amanda Victoria Asher, 26, of the 14500 block of Booker Road, Sonora, was arrested on Fuller Street.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:20 a.m., San Andreas — A dispute took place between neighbors on West Murray Creek Road over vehicles.

10:31 a.m., San Andreas — A disagreement between family members was reported on East Saint Charles Street.

11:18 a.m., San Andreas — A disturbance was reported on West Murray Creek Road involving one party threatening the other with guns.

3:34 p.m., Arnold — Juveniles were reportedly shooting BB guns at a stop sign on Stanislaus Drive.

4:41 p.m., San Andreas — Multiple children reportedly were trespassing on a Gold Strike Road property riding bikes after they were told not to go onto the property.

9:01 p.m., San Andreas — A disturbance was reported at a West Saint Charles Street bar, with customers yelling and screaming behind the bar.

SATURDAY

9:16 a.m., Arnold — A burglary was reported on Shoshone Drive.

10:15 a.m., Arnold — A vehicle break-in was reported on Marilyn Way.

11:44 a.m., West Point — Multiple reports were made of teenagers driving dangerously on new mini bikes with no helmets or gloves and with toddlers or young children on the front of the bikes.

11:53 a.m., Arnold — Items were reportedly stolen from a car on Julia Lane.

1:50 p.m., San Andreas — Someone reportedly went through the trash and spilled it on the ground at an East Saint Charles Street business.

2:22 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A report was made of a kid and a pit bull trespassing on a Mountain Ranch Road property.

5:11 p.m., Jenny Lind — Someone reportedly shot and destroyed a gate controller box on Hospital Road.

SUNDAY

9:19 a.m., Mountain Ranch — A report was taken for a fight between neighbors on Old Prospector Trail.

9:42 a.m., Valley Springs — A Stage Coach Drive home was burglarized.

2:30 p.m., Avery — Steven Dwayne Almer, 47, of the 3900 block of Highway 4, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 3900 block of Highway 4.

7:28 p.m., Avery — Kevin Richard White, 29, of the 200 block of Highway 4, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 4400 block of Moran Road.

8:39 p.m., Valley Springs — Brian Matthew Dehart, 27, of the 8300 block of O’Reilly Street, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and committing a felony while on bail, after an arrest at his home.

SATURDAY

1:30 p.m., San Andreas — Daniel Larry Kisner, 42, of the 400 block of Jojoba Lane, Mokelumne  Hill, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest on the 800 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

2:37 p.m., Murphys — Stacy Fonta Quashnick, 33, of the 100 block of Dogtown Road, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 100 block of Big Trees Road.

8:12 p.m., Angels Camp — Michael Dion Green, 54, of the 2200 block of Aloha Drive, Honolulu, Hawaii, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 200 block of South Main Street.

SUNDAY

4 p.m., Valley Springs — Lucas Johnathan Garrett, 19, of the 8300 block of O’Reilly Street, was booked on suspicion of selling marijuana to a minor, after an arrest on the 5700 block of Thornicroft Drive.

6:08 p.m., San Andreas — Wayne Eric Townsend, 51, of the 200 block of High School Street, was booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger, assault with a deadly weapon and a violation of felony parole, after an arrest on the 500 block of East Saint Charles Street.
