TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:56 a.m., Columbia — A woman found her dog shot July 30 at her property on the 12300 block of Yankee Hill Road.

9:50 a.m., Sonora area — Someone stole two air compressors from a water treatment plant on the 7400 block of Reynolds Ferry Road.

11:12 a.m., Groveland — A residence was burglarized on the 18500 block of Capitan Way. Someone gained by breaking a kitchen window. The thief then stole multiple items including tools and clothes.

2:27 p.m., Jamestown — Two men pried open the backdoor of a business on the 18100 block of Main Street and then sprayed the interior with a fire extinguisher.

5:12 p.m., Jamestown — Someone smashed out the rear window of a vehicle parked at Two Mile Bar Road and Highway 108 and stole an organizer contained $2,600 cash, birth certificate and bank statement. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $350.

6:23 p.m., Jamestown — A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 18100 block of Main Street. He first had to be taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center for clearance before he was booked into jail.

7:41 p.m., Soulsbyville — A 33-year-old man was arrested for a felony warrant and on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:20 p.m., Sonora area — Someone broke into a residence on the 14300 block of Sandy Court via an open window and stole methadone and hydrocodone pills.

THURSDAY

4:58 p.m., East Sonora area — Rita Kay Landis, 62, of the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road, was arrest at Highway 108 and Via Este Road.

7:08 p.m., Jamestown — Eli Joe Prater, 33, of the 6100 block of Hogan Dam Road, Valley Springs, was arrested at Highway 49 and Victoria Way.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

11:36 a.m., traffic accidents — Someone said an unknown vehicle hit a building at an apartment complex on Greenley Road during the night, causing damage to it and an electrical box.

5:01 p.m., animal complaints — Someone at a business on East Bradford Avenue was asking for assistance removing a live bat that flew into the entry way.

9:25 p.m., controlled substances — A 34-year-old man was seen inhaling canned air by the bicycle racks at a business on Sanguinetti Road. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of toluene and public intoxication.

12:58 p.m., Twain Harte — Nicole Marie Diverty, 28, of the 12200 block of Twain Harte Drive, was booked on suspicion of credit card fraud and a misdemeanor charge of theft, after an arrest on the 22600 block of Twain Harte Drive.

1:16 p.m., Crystal Falls — Troy Don Campbell, 45, unknown address, was booked on suspicion of assault, vandalism, resisting arrest, assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and kidnapping, after an arrest on the 22000 block of Crystal Falls Drive.

1:39 p.m., Sonora — Sandra Anne Prosco, 65, of the 400 block of South Shepherd Street, was booked on suspicion of child endangerment and a misdemeanor charge of being under the influence of drugs, after an arrest at the Sonora High School swimming pool.

8:38 p.m., Jamestown — Dawn Gaye Birdsong, 49, of the 200 block of Ru De Yo Street, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and being under the influence of drugs, after an arrest at Green Springs Road and Highway 120.

9:25 p.m., Jamestown — Michael Ladd Novotny, 41, of the 11100 block of East Fairchild Road, Stockton, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest at Green Springs Road and Highway 120.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

1:19 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Someone on Whiskey Slide Road called to report a neighbor who jumped on the property fence, pointed his finger and said “I from now on will have nothing to do with you.”

1:34 p.m., Arnold — A business was burglarized on Highway 4.

4:31 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Someone called to report a possible theft on Ponderosa Way.

7:59 p.m., Arnold — Someone on Felix Drive called to report a telephone scam.

10:05 p.m., Copperopolis — There was  a fight in the parking lot of a business on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

THURSDAY

2 a.m., San Andreas — Robert Alan Greeson, 59, of the 18100 block of Vista Way, Mokelumne Hill, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, drug possession for sales, drug transportation and misdemeanor charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, being under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest at Pope Street and Lewis Avenue.

4:04 p.m., Arnold — Braden Beaumont Griffin, 22, of the 1900 block of Tamarack Drive, was booked on suspicion of burglary and possessing stolen property, after an arrest at his home.

4:04 p.m., Arnold — Eric Scott Schroeder, 23, of the 1000 block of the 1900 block of Tamarack Drive, was booked on suspicion of damaging power lines, theft and misdemeanor charges of assault and resisting arrest, after an arrest at his home.

8:13 p.m., San Andreas  — Robert Glenn Helling, 53, of the 100 block of Miller Court, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, being under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest on the 100 block of Miller Court.
