TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

8:03 a.m., unclassified — A transient man slept on the sidewalk near a Stockton Road bank.

10:12 a.m., vandalism — A man on Greenley Road said a tire on his vehicle was slashed.

3:34 p.m., trespassing — A man on West Church Street said transients set up a camp on his property.

7:32 p.m., public intoxication — A man with scruffy hair in a wheelchair was seen in the road near Greenley Road and Mono Way bumping into things.

SATURDAY

7:09 a.m., disorderly conduct — A woman caused a disturbance on Greenley Road.

4:38 p.m., fraudulent activities — A man used a fraudulent credit card to purchase $1,500 worth of gift cards at a Sanguinetti Road restaurant.

9:21 p.m., traffic citation — Two vehicles were cited for driving in the construction zone on Mono Way. One of the vehicles went down an embankment and required a tow truck.

SUNDAY

6:40 p.m., civil problem — Someone on Olive Street said their roommates started a barbecue in an unsafe place.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:05 p.m., Kennedy Meadows — A 36-year-old man was severely dehydrated near Highway 108.

3:09 p.m., Sonora area — A man with a bloody lip on Wards Ferry Road said he was assaulted by youths.

5:26 p.m., Twain Harte — A man said his identity was used to purchase a vehicle.

5:48 p.m., Twain Harte — A Mark Twain Drive resident said two dogs came onto her property, one of which appeared to have been abused.

6:42 p.m., Tuolumne — A man on Yosemite Road allegedly beat and choked a woman.

8:24 p.m., Jamestown — A woman said her son “head-butted” her on Peppermint Circle.

11:46 p.m., Sonora area — A man was sleeping on a deck at the box office of a Mono Way theater.

SATURDAY

6:52 a.m., Sonora area — A man on Phoenix Lake Road said someone attempted to use his Social Security number to obtain credit.

8:36 a.m., Sonora area — A call was made to 911 from a cell phone near Lyons Bald Mountain Road, but only turkeys could be heard on the line.

9:56 a.m., Sonora area — A woman said she was followed by a man at a Mono Way shopping center.

10 a.m., Sonora area — A man on Serrano Road said another man walked through his yard holding a piece of rebar and a metal file, stopping only to ask about the property owner’s lawn mower.

10:04 a.m., Sonora area — An elderly woman on Sylva Lane said she was abused.

11:40 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man said someone stole equipment from him on Highway 108 while he was unloading his vehicle.

3:02 p.m., Sonora area — A woman said a dryer was stolen from her West Walnut Drive property.

5:35 p.m., Sonora area — A girl said she was hit by her teenage brother.

10:01 p.m., Columbia — A man was threatened people at a Parrotts Ferry Road mobile-home park.

SUNDAY

1:20 a.m., Tuolumne — An elderly man was reported to be acting strangely in a Tuolumne Road North restaurant, attempting to light his watch on fire and taking food crumbs from customers and eating them.

8:48 a.m., East Sonora — Someone on Hess Avenue drilled a hole in a vehicle’s gas tank and stole gas.

9:44 a.m., Twain Harte — A man on Shadybrook Drive allowed his dog to run, chase wildlife and swim in a pond.

12:25 p.m., Groveland — Someone on Ferretti Road asked for advice regarding “punishment versus child abuse.”

5:50 p.m., Long Barn — Someone on Lyons Dam Road said kids were throwing dead fish into Lyons Reservoir.

7:59 p.m., Jamestown — A man wearing a lime green helmet trespassed on Shell Road. 

11:50 p.m., Twain Harte — A man and woman on East Avenue parked in the road to talk about their relationship “in privacy.”

FRIDAY

7 p.m., Stanislaus National Forest — Gary Ward Bailey Jr., 47, listed as a transient, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest in the forest.

7:37 p.m., Tuolumne — Robert Michael Gomez, 26, of the 18300 block of Yosemite Road, Tuolumne, was booked on suspicion of assault and false imprisonment after an arrest at Chestnut Avenue and Pine Street.

SATURDAY

4:45 p.m., Tuolumne — Tracy Helene Akins, 38, of the 19400 block of Hillsdale Drive, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on Buchanan Mine Road.

1:03 a.m., Sonora — Gabriel Anthony Avila, 18, of the 18500 block of Woolworth Street, Tuolumne, was booked after an arrest at Crystal Lake Drive and Wasatch Mountain Drive.

SATURDAY

4:03 p.m., Strawberry — Raymond Sebastian Gada III, of the 300 block of James Street, Modesto, was booked after an arrest at Highway 108 and Leland Creek Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

9:26 a.m., Valley Springs — Two people were arrested on Highway 26 after an argument. 

11:06 a.m., Valley Springs — A suspicious “fifth-wheel” was parked on Mittleman Court. 

3:30 p.m., San Andreas — Two “new” parents on Lewis Avenue argued. 

4:26 p.m., Valley Springs — A man at a Highway 26 golf course pushed a blond woman. 

SATURDAY

12:07 a.m., Arnold — Someone on Blagen Road heard a woman screaming for help. 

11:24 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — People on Corral Flat Road fought. 

3:15 p.m., Murphys — Someone on Three Fingered Jack said someone suspicious closed the shades at a neighbor’s house. Deputies confirmed it was the homeowner.

5:20 p.m., San Andreas — A man on Gold Strike Road argued with his ex-girlfriend. 

9:12 p.m., Vallecito — An “unruly lady” was at a winery on Red Hill Access Road. 

10:45 p.m., Valley Springs — Children at a home on Pine Street “pounded” on the door and walls.

SUNDAY

1:48 a.m., San Andreas — An arrest was made after someone on Monte Vista Court saw an unknown male passed out in their yard.

9:46 a.m., Douglas Flat — Someone was arrested after fight on Sugar Pine Way.

8:19 p.m., Burson — A report of a suspicious person at a home on Burson Road was unfounded. The person was the homeowner.

10:14 p.m., Vallecito — Dantche Mark Norman, 45, of the 5900 block of Sheep Ranch Road, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of drug possession for sale and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license after an arrest on Highway 4 and Live Oak Road.

SATURDAY

11:55 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Tracy Ammons, 49, of the 23600 block of Highway 108, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license after an arrest on the 8000 block of Highway 49. 

11:55 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Kenneth Leland Summers, 55, of the 23600 block of Highway 108, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the 8000 block of Highway 49. 

SUNDAY

4:30 p.m., San Andreas — Wade Ryan Reeves, 31, of the 100 block of Little Dipper Road, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest on the 800 block of Mountain Ranch Road. 

10:50 p.m., West Point — Sandra Susan Gaschk, 53, of the 300 block of Higdon Spink Cutoff, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest at her home.
