TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:04 a.m., Jamestown — A man said two teenagers tried to “manhandle” him after he kicked at a brown dog that began running at him near Eighth Street and Seventh Avenue.

10:27 a.m., Sonora area — Several feet of stripped copper wire was found in a garbage container on the 14100 block of Tuolumne Road. There were no reported wire thefts in the area.

12:11 p.m., Groveland — A woman said 10 bags of clothes she planned on donating were stolen from outside of her shop on the 18700 block of Main Street.

12:54 p.m., Columbia — A man on the 22600 block of Lower Quail Mine Road said someone stole his .357-caliber Magnum sometime in the past week.

2:41 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man said someone stole the fish finder off his boat on the 19700 block of Carne Richards Road. He said he knew who was responsible.

6 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — Someone stole a cast iron bathtub that was in front of a business on the 24400 block of Highway 108.

6:21 p.m., Twain Harte — A 75-year-old man who earlier fallen and appeared injured was sitting in front of a business on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive and was yelling at customers. He was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

8:05 p.m., Columbia — There were several reports of people physically fighting in front of a bar on the 22800 block of Italian Bar Road. No one appeared to be injured when deputies arrived and there were no arrests.

8:10 p.m., Long Barn — A 50-year-old man was fighting with his neighbors, screaming obscenities and beating on vehicles on the 25600 block of Long Barn Sugar Pine Road. He was arrested on suspicion of three misdemeanor charges of public intoxication, vandalism and battery.

WEDNESDAY

12:23 p.m., Big Oak Flat — Tina Ann Dobler, 39, of the 11000 block of Black Road, was booked on suspicion of possessing, manufacturing or selling a dangerous weapon, as well as a misdemeanor charge of drug possession, after an arrest at her home.

Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol:

WEDNESDAY

8:40 p.m., Sonora area — Anthony Raymond Harbut, 23, of the 12700 block of Hetch Hetchy Court, Groveland, was arrested at Highway 108 and Chabroullian Lane.

11:12 p.m., Sonora — Gary Albin Moore, 59, of the 5300 block of West Avenue, Lancaster, was arrested at Stockton Road and Mill Villa Court.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

6:15 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A tall man with a shaved head was “staring in the windows” at a business on Mono Way while a women’s kickboxing class was in session. Someone said it has been an ongoing problem with the man. Officers advised contacting the police department the next time the suspect is at the scene.

8:48 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone reported a possible driver who was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at a business on Pesce Way. The driver apparently pulled into the entrance of a gas station and her car went up against the curb. Two other women got out and went in the gas station. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

11:01 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone said a woman broke into a recycling bin at the end of a parking lot on Sanguinetti Road and was inside it at the time of the call. Officers located the woman and determined she was attempting to catch a stray kitten.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:29 a.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle was vandalized on Holmquist Lane.

11:01 a.m., Campo Seco — Mining equipment was stolen from a store on Campo Seco Road.

11:17 a.m., Arnold — A residence was broken into on Innsbruck Drive.

12:55 p.m., Arnold — A guest room was vandalized at a business on Highway 4.

2:34 p.m., Angels Camp — Items were stolen out of a travel trailer on Acorn Lane.

3:38 p.m., San Andreas — A vehicle was vandalized on Mountain Ranch Road.

11:14 p.m., Hathaway Pines — A man on Cedar Drive wanted to file a noise complaint against his neighbors for them talking to him through his open window.

WEDNESDAY

12:45 a.m., Angels Camp — Darien Clinton Andrews-McKinney, 18, of the 400 block of Market Street, Santa Cruz, was arrested at Highway 49 and Clifton Lane.

11:45 p.m., San Andreas — Karen Jan Alberts, 50, of the 14700 block of Towle Lane, Grass Valley, was arrested on Murry Dale Lane.
