TUOLUMNE COUNTY 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

11:04 a.m., animal complaints — A dog was loose in a Lower Sunset Drive backyard. 

3:56 p.m., civil problem — Someone drove a car into some bushes on McCormick Drive.

5:15 p.m., domestic violence — A man threw a beverage at a woman on South Washington Street.

6:28 p.m., animal complaints — A rattlesnake was at the backdoor of a Sanguinetti Road restaurant. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:29 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on Stag Circle received harassing letters. 

9:42 a.m., Jamestown — A man on Rawhide Road has received suspicious “hang up” calls “for the last 30 years.” 

11:04 a.m., Columbia — A man on Gold Springs Drive said his granddaughter was out of control. 

11:17 a.m., Twain Harte — Someone on Longeway Road put a “stop payment” on a check to a tree-service company because the services were not done.

12:54 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Susan Way said his father choked him and his sister threw him against a wall. 

1:04 p.m., La Grange — Someone on Bonds Flat Road had a flat tire. 

1:15 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Willow Street said a “very sarcastic” woman called her. 

THURSDAY

3:04 a.m., Sonora area — Deputies questioned a man on Bergel Road who said he was homeless and finding a place to fill his water bottle. 

4:24 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on Fernwood Drive heard someone walking outside her house. 

Felony bookings

WEDNESDAY

10:45 a.m., Sonora area — Juan Miguel Villicana, 32, of the 1900 block of Althoff Court, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and possession of a short-barreled shotgun or rifle after an arrest on Bradford and Stockton streets.

11:09 a.m., Sonora area — Steven Jeffrey Diaz, 48, of the 300 block of Fairview Lane, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at his home. 

11:24 a.m., Sonora area — James Michael Tracy Jr., 25, transient, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on the 300 block of Fairview Lane. 

2:21 p.m., Big Oak Flat — Roger Eugene Lane, 52, of the 14100 block of Park Avenue, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of battery on a peace officer and misdemeanor resisting arrest and giving false information to a peace officer after an arrest on the 17800 block of Highway 120. 

8 p.m., Jamestown — Matthew Dale Miller, 28, of the 22700 block of East Avenue, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of transporting or selling drugs after an arrest on Highway 108 at O’Byrnes Ferry Road. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

11:54 p.m., Hathaway Pines — Someone on Apple Drive heard their daughter’s car alarm “go off” but could not hear anyone outside.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

WEDNESDAY

5:05 p.m., Camp Connell — Charlene Nicole Humes, 34, of the 3300 block of Murietta South Roost, Dorrington, was booked after an arrest on the 3000 block of Shoshone Way.
