The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


7:20 a.m., animal complaints — Two Queensland heeler dogs on South Shepherd Street were “at large” and aggressive. 

11:57 a.m., threats — A man on Lytton Street told a woman she would “reap consequences.” 

8:24 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A woman on Lyons Street said her ex-maintenance man drove to her home, watched her and took her picture.


4:33 a.m., vandalism — A woman on Banner Drive found a hole in her back window. 

7:19 a.m., fight — Someone on Orchard Avenue had an ongoing problem with a loud band practicing in a garage. 

8:01 a.m., fraudulent activities — A woman on Greenley Road reported a possible scam. 

2:15 p.m., theft — A person was arrested on East Jackson Street for allegedly stealing jewelry from a resident of a senior home. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


12:29 a.m., Jamestown — A man left a Highway 108 bar without paying the full tab.

9:54 a.m., Lake Tulloch — An underage driver of a boat and a child without a life vest were warned at Scorpion Cove.

10:11 a.m., Sonora — A man on Lower Sunset Drive threatened an inmate worker. 

10:39 a.m., Groveland — Someone on Big Foot Circle stole a fountain and a garden gnome. 

2:55 p.m., Long Barn — Someone at a Highway 108 restaurant said two dogs were locked in a car and their owners said the dogs were unfriendly and would not be let out. 

7:08 p.m., Pinecrest — Two women at Lakeshore Avenue returned from hiking and swimming after they were reported missing.

9:33 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village —Someone on Koteo Lane believed a neighbor’s home was burglarized. Deputies found the homeowner “lying in bed watching television.”

10:17 p.m., Crystal Falls — A man on Columbia River Drive believed two people were under his deck “tapping” his phone line. 

11:43 p.m., Crystal Falls — A person in a dark vehicle on Crystal Falls Drive antagonized neighbors.


12:47 a.m., Sonora area — A Tuolumne Road man said his ex-wife, who lived four trailers down, banged on his back door. 

1:23 a.m., Columbia — Someone on Parrotts Ferry Road believed people climbed on top of his RV. He admitted he had not slept for several nights.

7:19 a.m., Jamestown — A woman at a Highway 108 mobile home park was harassed about her eviction. 

7:54 a.m., Columbia — A woman on Northridge Road was threatened by her “husband’s secretary’s husband.”

10:28 a.m., Big Oak Flat — A fence was stolen on Highway 120. 

11:26 a.m., Sonora — A man on North Elm Street flagged a deputy down and gave him medication to be destroyed. 

11:47 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on Rawhide Road was advised against making “fake paperwork” to show she owned a horse. 

12:41 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Robin Hill Road said his ex-wife tried to enroll their son in a Sacramento school.

12:50 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man on Starr King Drive believed his retired neighbor waited until he was asleep to dump yard waste on his property. 

1:38 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on Eel River Drive believed someone stole her computer and opened an account in her name and later realized it was her account.

2:04 p.m., Jamestown — A man at a Lake Tulloch campground tried to sell wood and “dope.” 

2:42 p.m., East Sonora — A man on Mono Way sat in a lawn chair and complained about health care. 

4:27 p.m., Pinecrest — A man with a white moustache and a cowboy hat at Pinecrest Lake used a “telescopic” lens to take pictures of children. 

6:06 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Aarondale Road sat on his wife after she threw a laundry basket at him. 

Felony bookings


12:03 a.m., Sonora — Jacob Randle Harris, 33, of the first block of West Lytton Street, was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats after an arrest at his home. 

9:49 p.m., Sonora — Jeremy Michael Karamchetti, 25, of the 600 block of East Oakside Drive, was booked on suspicion of false imprisonment with violence and misdemeanor assault after an arrest at his home. 


4:13 p.m., Sonora — Sarah Marie Jimenez, 26, of the 3300 block of Silver Rapids Road, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property, burglary, and misdemeanor embezzlement after an arrest on the 600 block of East Jackson Street. 


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


12:37 a.m., Jamestown — Kyle James Pope, 23, of the 13500 block of Salinas Street, La Grange, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Rawhide Road. 


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


1:05 p.m., Valley Springs — New owners of a house on La Contenta Drive demanded someone at their home leave immediately.

8:25 p.m., Murphys — Someone on Sandalwood Drive complained of noise. 

10:04 p.m., Copperopolis — A man and woman at a double-wide trailer on Sequoia Circle Court argued. 

11:11 p.m., Murphys — Someone at a Highway 4 store realized he had lost his wallet. 


7:56 a.m., Arnold — A Bonanza Way resident was concerned about a suspicious car in the driveway.

9:33 a.m., San Andreas — Someone on High School Street ripped plaques off a wall and scattered them around. 

2:15 p.m., San Andreas — A person was arrested after a donation jar from a Mountain Ranch Road senior center was stolen. 

Felony bookings


5:45 a.m., Copperopolis — Paul David Moreno, 52, of the 200 block of Rockridge Lane, was booked on suspicion of assault, making criminal threats, and misdemeanor exhibiting a firearm after an arrest at his home. 

7:27 p.m., West Point — Michael Eugene Boyer, 42, of the 800 block of Barbara Lane, was booked on suspicion of assault and making criminal threats after an arrest on the 600 block of Timber Lane.


2:25 p.m., West Point — Bruce Henry Archer, 51, of the 5800 block of Railroad Flat Road, Mountain Ranch, was booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest on the first block of Winton Road. 

3 p.m.,  San Andreas — Matthew Austin Moore, 24, of an unknown address in San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of burglary and misdemeanor being under the influence of drugs after an arrest on the 200 block of Treat Street.

12:43 a.m., Murphys — Alfredo Yabut Rosano, 54, of the 19100 block of Rio Verde Street, Woodbridge, was booked after an arrest on the 1800 block of Six Mile Road. 

3:07 a.m., Valley Springs — Jessica Rachel Tavarez, 23, of the 500 block of Castle Oak Drive, Ione, was booked after an arrest on the first block of Nove Way.
