TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:27 a.m., unclassified —  A woman on East Lyons Street said her neighbor installed video cameras pointed at her home.

1:38 p.m., theft — A PlayStation was stolen from a Sanguinetti Road store.

6 p.m., theft — An intoxicated man tried to steal a bottle of alcohol from a Stockton Road store.

SATURDAY

7:40 a.m., animal complaints — A customer of a Mono Way restaurant allegedly leaves his dog inside a car in the parking lot every morning for approximately two hours.

10:26 a.m., controlled substances — Drug paraphernalia was found and turned over to police on West Church Street.

8:45 p.m., traffic accident — A hit-and-run accident occurred near South Washington Street and West Stockton Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

2:38 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man was seen in a ditch near Highway 108 and Soulsbyville Road with something over his head. Deputies were unable to locate him on arrival.

1:37 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Ridgeview Road reported unauthorized charges totalling $296 on his debit card. The purchases were typically $25 and $35, and made out of the United Kingdom.

4:40 p.m., Columbia — A boy in Columbia Village reportedly pulled a knife on a smaller boy at a playground.

5:07 p.m., Jamestown — A fire was reported off Highway 108.

10:45 p.m., Jamestown — A man said guns were missing from his storage locker on Victoria Place.  The man had missed payments on the locker and the lock was replaced. He claimed the guns were missing after he caught up on his payments.

11:50 p.m., Jamestown — Three men were seen possibly smoking heroin in a red pickup truck near Highway 108 and Main Street.

SATURDAY

12:38 a.m., Jamestown — Someone set off fireworks near Fifth Avenue and Seventh Street.

9:19 a.m., Columbia — Pain pills and $200 were stolen from a purse on Columbia College Drive.

11:08 a.m., Groveland — A stone sundial was stolen from in front of a Main Street business.

11:32 a.m., Twain Harte — A man arrived at his cabin on Sanberg Street to find his garage broken into and several tools missing.

1:19 p.m., Sonora area — A grass fire was reported in the area of Highway 108 and Standard Road.

9:39 p.m., Pinecrest — A loud party with strobe lights was reported at the Pinecrest Lake campground.

10:41 p.m., La Grange — An overturned vehicle was reported near Merced Falls.

10:50 p.m., Tuolumne — Teenagers were partying on Cottonwood Road near Fish Hatchery Road.

10:57 p.m., Sonora area — Two suspicious people appeared to be burglarizing a house on Columbia River Drive.

FRIDAY

7:15 a.m., Copperopolis — Levi Elden Coon, 28, of the 800 block of Sequoia Circle and/or the 900 block of Feather Drive, Copperopolis, was booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime after an arrest on Sequoia Court.

7:15 a.m., Copperopolis — Robert Coart Reiter, 26, of the 800 block of Sequoia Circle and/or the 900 block of Feather Drive, Copperopolis, was booked on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime after an arrest on Sequoia Court.

8:46 a.m., Sonora — Steven Matthew Berrigan, 42, of an unknown address on Jamestown Road, was booked on suspicion of violating post-release supervision after an arrest on Highway 49.

8:48 p.m., Twain Harte — Kamelia Rose Hutchinson, 19, of the 22700 block of Twain Harte Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug and narcotic possession after an arrest on Twain Harte Drive.

8:48 p.m., Twain Harte — Russell Allen Lee Jr., 25, of the 200 block of South Washington Street, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of drug and narcotic possession after an arrest on Twain Harte Drive.

8:48 p.m., Twain Harte — Daniel Ray Thompson, 26, of the 20800 block of Lynn Lane, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of drug and narcotic possession after an arrest on Twain Harte Drive.

SATURDAY

1:40 a.m., Chinese Camp — Ian John Sego, 33, of the 9000 block of Petaluma Street, Delhi, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on Highway 49 at Montezuma Junction.

5:25 a.m., Sonora — Paul Daniel Velasquez, 32, listed as a transient, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and probation violation after an arrest on Hospital Road.

1:19 p.m., Tuolumne — Shelia Ann Berghorst, 47, of the 1300 block of Monterey Road, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of possession of drugs for sale after an arrest on Tuolumne Road North.

11:43 p.m., Sonora — Sabrina Marie Alfreds, 25, of the 18000 block of Seco Street, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on Truckenmiller Road.

2:08 a.m., Sonora — Eric James Pina, 29, of the 38400 block of Timpanogas Circle, Fremont, was booked after an arrest on West Stockton Road.

10:28 p.m., Sonora — Deida Jessenia Murillo Medina, 25, of the 22200 block of Cotton Circle, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Mono Way near the Highway 108 entrance.

1:53 p.m., Jamestown — Matthew Michael Traubenik, 33, of the 2400 block of Countrybrook Road, San Jose, was booked after an arrest on Highway 49 at Main Street.

8:11 p.m., Sonora — John Wallace Ashby, 57, of the 2200 block of Navarro Street, La Grange, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 east of Stockton Road.

8:23 p.m., Sonora — Paul Vincent Rainey, 59, of the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road, was booked after an arrest on Wards Ferry Road.

8:45 p.m., Sonora — Michael Lee Griffin, 70, of the 3500 block of Hillglen Avenue, Modesto, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 at Stone Corral.

9:43 p.m., Sonora — Danny Leroy Jacka, 69, of the 20500 block of Sunshine Road, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 west of Washington Street.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:47 p.m., Valley Springs — A gate was vandalized and a sign stolen from a property on Siegel Street.

2:10 p.m., Murphys — A suspicious man reportedly entered a Meadow View Road house and asked to check the residence. 

10:44 p.m., San Andreas — A man was dumpster diving on Lewis Avenue.

SATURDAY

12:09 a.m., Angels Camp — Two men at a South Main Street car wash “messed around” with machines.

FRIDAY

3 a.m., Angels Camp — Michael Shayne Bush, 48, of the 1500 block of Sonora Street, was booked on suspicion of assault and false imprisonment after an arrest at his home. 

3:30 p.m., San Andreas — Kristi Dawn Payton, 36, of the 8400 block of Deervale Road, Dublin, was booked on suspicion of violation of alternate sentencing terms after an arrest at the Calaveras County Probation Department on East St. Charles Street.

8:40 a.m., Angels Camp — Raymar Talania, 22, of the 1300 block of Sunny Court, San Jose, was booked after an arrest on the 200 block of South Main Street. 

3:02 p.m., Valley Springs — Gregory John Holman, 54, of the 3500 block of Lakeview Drive, Ione, was booked after an arrest on Highway 12 and Evans Road. 

7:46 p.m., Murphys — Christopher Daniel Nelson, 30, of the 700 block of Amber Way, was booked after an arrest on the 800 block of Highway 4. 

11:15 p.m., Angels Camp — Allen Richard Keefe, 37, of the 3700 block of Woodview Drive, Ceres, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 at Angel Oaks Drive. 

11:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Jeremy Grivette, 31, of the 400 block of North Second Avenue, Oakdale, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4. 

11:50 p.m., Arnold — Brian Matthew Goss, 33, of the 800 block of Algiers Street, Murphys, was booked after an arrest on Highway 4 at Big Trees Park.
