The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


4:32 p.m., traffic accidents — A vehicle on South Washington Street backed into a stoplight. 

6:10 p.m., vandalism — A man on East Lyons Street believed his neighbor spat on his car. 

7:59 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man on South Shepherd Street was afraid of “retaliation.” 

10:51 p.m., suspicious circumstances — Someone on South Barretta drive heard footsteps outside her window. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


 1:06 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Curtis Court “hissed” and made attacking gestures to a man. 

1:16 p.m., Jamestown — Deputies explained to a man on Jamestown Road he could not “kick out” his wife. 

7:39 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on Rozier and Main streets locked her keys and 1-year-old nephew in her car. 

9:49 p.m., East Sonora — People at a Mono Way store agreed to separate for the night after an argument. 

Felony bookings


3 p.m., Sonora — James Earl McPherson, 31, of the 1200 block of Kenneth Avenue, Seaside, was booked on suspicion of continuous molestation of a child under age 14, and lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 after an arrest on the first block of Lower Sunset Drive. 


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


2:14 a.m., Sonora — Robert Michael Harrington, 32, of the 18400 block of Jamestown Road, Jamestown, was booked after an arrest at Highway 108 and Washington Street. 


12:18 a.m., Sonora area — Gregory Scott Grissom, 56, of the first block of Saratoga Road, was booked after an arrest at Mono Way and Tuolumne Road. 


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:58 a.m., San Andreas — A business on Mountain Ranch Road made daily “phantom calls” to 911 because of equipment issues. 

10:28 a.m., Murphys — Someone at a Highway 4 gas station reported an argument. 

1:28 p.m., Copperopolis — Two dogs on Morado Circle had an “altercation.” 

3:40 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone on Garner Place was assaulted. 

3:50 p.m., Camp Connell — Someone on Meko Drive saw a person around their house. 

5:08 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — A shed and motorhome on Highway 49 were broken into. 

6:57 p.m., Murphys — Someone said transients possibly lived in a building on Big Trees Road.

7:37 p.m., Arnold — People on Country Club Drive screamed and yelled during an argument. 



12:52 a.m., Wilseyville — Someone on Poverty Lane caught a man “sneaking around” in their backyard. 

2:36 a.m., Mokelumne Hill — A man on Highway 49 said he saw fireworks “going up” in the air. 


Felony bookings



8 a.m., Burson — Jacqueline Ann Rosofsky, 33, of the 11900 block of Brandy Lane, was booked on suspicion of prohibited ownership of a firearm and misdemeanor possession or use of a stun gun by a felon after an arrest at her home. 




Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:



3 a.m., Angels Camp — Jack Nicholas Conlin, 24, of the 100 block of Acorn Drive, was booked after an arrest on the first block of North Main Street.
