The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


1:04 p.m., fraudulent activities — A woman on South Washington Street received a call from someone claiming to work for PG&E who said if she didn’t pay in 45 minutes, her power would be shut off. PG&E did not make the call. 

3:36 p.m., lost property — A woman said she accidentally threw her medication away in a dumpster and when she realized what she’d done, the dumpster had been emptied on Stockton Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


11:08 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on Belleview Creek Road reported that a neighbor damaged some of her bushes. She was told to talk to her neighbor about it.

1:16 p.m., Sonora — Someone reported credit cards stolen at a care facility on Greenley Road.

1:44 p.m., Don Pedro area — A woman called 911 to inform them someone had just prank called her. 

3:31 p.m., Columbia — Someone on Italian Bar Road got a suspicious email and text saying they won $2 million but not to tell anyone. 

3:53 p.m., Groveland — A group of people vandalized golf carts and greens on Mueller Way. 

7:10 p.m., Groveland — A vehicle and shed were found vandalized two days before on Jackass Creek Road. 

8:47 p.m., Tuolumne — A man was arrested under suspicion of being drunk in public on Hani Drive.

7 p.m., Sonora — Mark James Hyder, 21, of the 22400 block of Scenic Drive, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of burglary, forgery of a credit or debit card, violation of probation and misdemeanor theft by use of debit or credit card and obtaining goods with a false credit or debit card. 

7:46 p.m., Sonora — Richard Russell Butler, 37, a transient, was booked on suspicion of burglary, receiving known stolen property and violation of probation after an arrest on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


8:15 a.m., San Andreas — Vandalism was reported on Gold Strike Road.

12:31 p.m., Arnold — Criminal contempt was reported on Splash Dam Loop. 

12:59 p.m., Copperopolis — Residential burglary was reported on O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

7:25 p.m., West Point — Someone reported the possible theft of medication on Higdon Spink Cutoff Road.

7:46 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Theft was reported on West Center Street. 

9:33 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on Main Street.

3:24 p.m., Copperopolis — Mandy Lynn Davis, 30, of the 2900 block of Squaw Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on Little John Road.

6:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Chance August Donald Fidler, 18, of the 300 block of Main Street, was booked on suspicion of willful cruelty to a child after an arrest on the 200 block of Monte Verde Street. 

6:30 p.m., Angels Camp — Kandice Linette Hadley, 27, of the 800 block of Main Street, was booked on suspicion of willful cruelty to a child after an arrest on the 200 block of Monte Verde Street.
