The Sonora Police Department reported the following:
11:40 a.m., vandalism — A vehicle was damaged in a Mono way parking lot.
1:21 p.m., theft — A shoplifting suspect fled a store on South Washington Street.
9:10 p.m., driving under the influence — A man was seen drinking alcohol in a vehicle in a Sanguinetti Road parking lot.
9:15 p.m., fight — Two men were seen fighting in Courthouse Square on North Washington Street.
11:12 p.m., disorderly conduct — Two men were walking up and down Washington Street vandalizing things and trying to fight. They reportedly then drew a large crowd while fighting on South Shepherd Street.
4:29 a.m., theft — A man on South Washington Street said he believed some medication and computers were stolen from him.
3:31 p.m., public peace — A Bonanza Road resident was yelling, screaming and threatening to hurt other residents.
11:59 a.m., theft — Someone said former roommates took things that didn’t belong to them while moving out from a home on South Shepherd Street.
7:57 p.m., theft — A man came home on Shaws Flat Road and to find his front door open and his house “trashed” with an unknown number of items missing.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:
10:20 a.m., Sonora area — Six apartment units on Shaws Flat Road were broken into.
12:15 p.m., Tuolumne — A Tuolumne Road resident received a phone call from someone claiming to be a grandson who was arrested in Las Vegas and needed $2,000. The caller ID showed British Columbia.
1 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman on Chief Fuller Way said her vehicle was keyed.
1:16 p.m., Don Pedro — A fire was reported near J-59 on Bonds Flat Road.
2:11 p.m., Sonora area — A caller said prescription medications were taken from a backpack in the Quail Hollow area.
3:02 p.m., Columbia — A man on Gold Springs Drive said his granddaughter was out of control.
3:55 p.m., Columbia — A man on Marble Quarry Road called police to report trespassing news reporters on his property. Authorities said the reporters had a lawful reason to come to his door, and said they are only trespassing if they refuse to leave after being told.
4:12 p.m., Chinese Camp — A fire was reported near Perricone Road.
8:10 p.m., Sonora area — Residents on Dunlap Lane said their teenage son left a note after being grounded that he will be back in a couple days.
10:25 p.m., Soulsbyville — People were reportedly racing up and down the street on Willow Springs Drive.
12:26 a.m., Twain Harte — Five or six people were walking down Twain Harte Drive yelling and screaming.
6:45 a.m., Jamestown — A break-in was reported on Chabroullian Lane.
12:01 p.m., Long Barn — Someone was purposefully blocking an easement at Shasta Drive and Inyo Drive with a motorhome.
12:23 p.m., La Grange — A non-injury accident occurred on La Grange Road.
2:17 p.m., La Grange — A water leak was reported at Don Pedro High School.
2:26 p.m., Columbia — A rifle was found under the Parrotts Ferry bridge.
5:36 p.m., Pinecrest — A scuba diver was diving unsafely at Pinecrest Lake.
6:20 p.m., Don Pedro — A 26-year-old man dislocated a shoulder on Bonds Flat Road.
6:50 p.m., Columbia — A squatter was reported at a property near Covington Road and Upper Quail Mine Road.
8:32 p.m., Tuolumne — Someone reportedly did not pay a cab fare at Sunrise Drive and Canyon Drive.
12:49 a.m., Groveland — A man renting a cabin on James Circle said someone was in the backyard with a flashlight.
1:42 a.m., Sonora area — A driver said he dropped an intoxicated man off at Mount Brow Road address. The man said it was not the right address and was laying down in the driveway possibly passed out.
9:49 a.m., Groveland — Two water storage tanks were stolen from a property on Smith Station Road.
11 a.m., Sonora — A woman was warned for leaving her dog in a hot car on Lower Sunset Drive.
1:53 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant on Rafferty Court.
8:33 p.m., Tuolumne — A caller thought they saw a fire, then realized it was the moon rising on Tuolumne Road.
3:58 a.m., Tuolumne — Someone reported some young men in a pickup truck being disorderly, kicking a neighbor’s gate on Carter and Fir streets.
8:02 a.m., Sonora area — An “insane” man broke someone’s windshield, beat a dog and screamed obscenities before returning to a space at a mobile home park on Wards Ferry Road.
1:45 a.m., Donnelle Lake — Matthew Thomas Heekin, 43, of 1200 block of Babel Lane, Walnut Creek, was booked on suspicion of transporting illegal mushrooms after an arrest at Donnell Lake.
7:02 a.m., Groveland — Steven Ross Fanter, 21, of the 19200 block of Fifth Street, Ceres, was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing bodily injury and hit and run resulting in injury after an arrest at Camp Mather.
10:10 a.m., Jamestown — Kristopher James Randi, 23, of the 18700 block of Highway 108, Jamestown, was booked on possession of a controlled substance after an arrest at the 18100 block of Sixth Avenue.
4:16 p.m., Sonora area — Teree Jill Clark, 48, of the 100 block of Jake Way, Galt, was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance after an arrest on Tinnin Road.
5:25 a.m., East Sonora — Michael Creed Rose, 60, of Fremont, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession after an arrest at The Junction shopping center.
8:19 p.m., Long Barn — Gregory Scott Bensberg, 51, of Pinecrest, was booked on suspicion of willful infliction of corporal injury.

1:56 a.m., Sonora — James Todd Edwards, 58, of the 19200 block of Soulsbyville Road, Soulsbyville, was booked after an arrest on Tuolumne Road.

1:24 p.m., Valley Springs — A man with a baseball bat was beating on a door and threatening people on Highway 12.

10:20 p.m., Arnold — Several very loud gunshots were reported near Country Club Drive.
10:26 p.m., Copperopolis — Someone found his or her front door unlocked with items disturbed on Athena Drive.
1:56 p.m., Arnold — A house was burglarized on Lakemont Drive.
3:27 p.m., Arnold — Petty theft was reported at a business on Highway 4.
11:20 p.m., Arnold — A vehicle was burglarized on Cypress Point Drive.
8:06 a.m., Milton — Fuel was stolen on Hunt Road.
11:22 a.m., Arnold — A woman said she was assaulted somewhere near Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
3:20 p.m., Murphys — A vehicle was vandalized on South Algiers Street.
7:21 p.m., San Andreas — Someone was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on West Saint Charles Street.
7:21 p.m., Copperopolis — Theft was reported on Bay View Drive.
9:15 a.m., Copperopolis — Sherman Dupre Green, 37, of the first block of Copper Meadow Drive, was booked on suspicion of stalking and misdemeanor exhibiting a deadly weapon, obstruction of justice and altering evidence after an arrest at Copper Meadow Drive.

9:10 p.m., Copperopolis — Michael Joseph Silva, 33, of Lodi, was booked after an arrest at O’Byrnes Ferry Road and Reeds Turnpike.
7:25 p.m., Burson — William James Rerutko, 70, of the 2200 block of Evans Road, was booked after an arrest at his home.
8:08 p.m., Arnold — Donald Lynn Savage, 63, of San Mateo, was booked after an arrest at Highway 4 and Rancho Paradiso Road.
