TUOLUMNE COUNTY 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:44 a.m., harassment — A man at a Sanguinetti Road parking lot made “unknown hand gestures” at a woman. 

4:20 p.m., public peace — Someone with a loud stereo drove by a business on North Washington Street.

8:26 p.m., civil problem — A woman at a Mono Way laundromat put $4 in a broken washing machine and the owner refused to refund her money. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:05 a.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on Crystal Falls Drive said she wanted “absolutely no legal action taken” after she was allegedly drugged and woke up in a hotel room. 

8:17 a.m., Sonora area — A man at a Mono Way store staggered and had an unsteady gait. 

9:28 a.m., East Sonora — A man at a Mono Way mobile home park was threatened by his neighbor. 

9:51 a.m., Jamestown — A woman on Willow Street said someone put shaving cream all over her vehicle. 

10:51 a.m., Groveland — A man on Ferretti Road was told he had three days to get out of a house in which he rented a room.

12:19 p.m., Columbia — A woman on South Gold Street wanted to get her brother-in-law’s ashes from a residence in hopes that it would “guide” his mother with closure. 

12:47 p.m., Twain Harte — Someone on Twain Harte Drive “trashed “ and left banana peels hanging from the rafters of a rental cabin. 

1:35 p.m., Sonora area — Someone threatened suicide at the county welfare department on Cedar Road. When contacted, the person said the incident and their comments were blown out of proportion. 

2:28 p.m., Sonora area — Someone at a Mono Way restaurant saw a stick of dynamite in the parking lot. Deputies confirmed it was a partially burned flare. 

7:09 p.m., Jamestown — A man on Main Street said his neighbor stole his grapes and threw them at his house. 

8:37 p.m., La Grange — A woman on Penascal Road said her neighbor’s dog went after her goats. 

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

THURSDAY

2:36 p.m., Twain Harte — Alan Roth Hardie, 64, of the 24300 block of Kewin Mill Road, Sonora, was booked after an arrest on Twain Harte and Highland drives. 

7:15 p.m., Sonora — Bobby Ray Kelly, 22, of the 100 block of Snell Street, was booked after an arrest on the 300 block of Fairview Lane. 

7:24 p.m., East Sonora — Ian Cameron Duncan Jones, 34, of an unknown address,Twain Harte, was booked after an arrest on Highway 108 and Hess Avenue. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:36 a.m., Burson — A man on Pettinger Road took a road sign. 

12:17 p.m., San Andreas — Someone on East St. Charles Street complained of a neighbor’s loud music. 

4:52 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone on Montero Road said a man looked out of place.

6:15 p.m., Valley Springs — Someone on Hartvickson Lane said they were struck by a thrown object while driving.
