The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


8:58 a.m., threats — A woman at a hair salon on Mono Way was making threats to co-workers via social media. 

1:04 p.m., public intoxication — A man walking on crutches was “yelling at people and waving his crutches at them” on Greenley Road. 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


10:04 a.m., Twain Harte — A woman on Towhee Lane said a man tried to kill her by choking her and poking her in the ear. 

3:31 p.m., Sonora area — Someone said she had second-hand information that a man about 18 to 20 years old wrote “Les heart Marie forever” in a bathroom stall on Kewin Mill Road. 

3:43 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Green Oaks Court said her daughter dropped off a stolen parking meter to her house. She was advised that there are no known parking meters in Tuolumne County, and deputies called other areas to check for reports of missing meters. 


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


11:52 p.m., Columbia — Paul Brian Hartley, 54, of the 23200 block of Italian Bar Road, was booked after an arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road. 


The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:


4:17 p.m., Arnold — A man appeared to be “setting up camp” at a park on Blagen Road. 

5:41 p.m., Valley Springs — Children appeared to be “riding quads recklessly” on Silver Rapid and Antonovich roads. 

Felony bookings


10:56 p.m., Murphys — Kyle Patrick Cox, 32, of an unknown address in Arnold, was booked on suspicion of second-degree burglary and drug possession, and misdemeanor petty theft, disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of paraphernalia, after an arrest on the first block of Murphys Road.
