Officers from California Highway Patrol are currently responding to two local auto accidents, one of them involving a Dodge Durango and a utility pole on Cherokee Road in Tuolumne.
The accident resulted in minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol. The extent of damage to the power pole and possible outages were not available. One-way traffic control was in place as of 12:20 p.m.
A second accident was a head-on crash involving a motorcycle and a Mini Cooper on Tuolumne Road at Standard Road. As of 12:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol’s Jamestown office had no word on whether anyone had been injured.
