Tuolumne man injured in motorcycle wreck

The CHP said he tried to evade an officer who was attempting to stop him for a minor traffic violation. After the wreck , he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading a peace officer and other charges, then released to be taken to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto for treatment of his injuries.

CHP Sgt. Don Guy said Saturday that he was later transported to another hospital out of the area because of the severity of his injuries. He declined to name that hospital because of hospital privacy issues.
