Three adults displaced by Twain Harte fire |
A Twain Harte family was displaced in a house fire Saturday night. The fire occurred on the 22000 block of South Fork Road. It was reported at 5:42 p.m., said Cal Fire spokeswoman Lisa Williams.
Units from Twain Harte, Columbia College, Pinecrest, Cedar Ridge, Tuolumne County Fire, Chinese Camp, Moccasin and Tuolumne City Fire responded. The last units left the scene at 1:38 a.m. Sunday. No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation. Damage to the structure and contents was estimated at $500,000. Local American Red Cross Director Cathie Peacock said three adults were displaced. Red Cross helped with clothing and food. The family, however, opted to stay with friends, she said. |
