Sonora Regional Medical Center CEO Jeff Eller has announced his resignation.
In a Monday memo to staff, Eller wrote he’d accepted a position as president of Adventist Health’s Northern California Network, which includes four acute-care hospitals and a behavioral health hospital serving Mendocino, Sonoma, Lake, Napa and Solano counties.
He leaves in January.
“While this new assignment brings excitement it also brings sadness at the thought of leaving our amazing organization and community. It has been a privilege to serve here in Sonora and to be part of our maturation into a Regional Medical Center with the mission of sharing God’s love and caring for the whole person. I couldn’t be more proud of the strides we have made on our visionary journey of becoming an excellent place for our physicians to practice medicine, our employees to work and our patients to receive care,” he wrote.
Eller served as Sonora Regional CEO for five years, and has worked with Adventist Health for 26.
He replaced 22-year CEO and president Lary Davis in October 2008.
