Dodge Ridge Ski Area in Pinecrest will hold a “Four Days of Giving” event today through Monday to celebrate opening day and the holiday season.
During the Four Days of Giving, which lasts through Christmas Eve, Dodge Ridge will donate $5 from every regular priced lift ticket purchase to support local community organization in Tuolumne County.
Skiers and riders will get to select one of the following six organizations to receive the Dodge Ridge donation: Habitat for Humanity of Tuolumne County, ReHorse Rescue Ranch, Interfaith Community Social Services, Amador-Tuolumne Community Action Agency Food Bank, Friends of the Animal Community or American Red Cross Sacramento Sierra Chapter.
Volunteers representing each organization will be at the ski resort over the weekend to thank people for their support.
Today is opening day for Dodge Ridge, as well as the first day of winter.
Bear Valley Ski Area opened Thursday.
