Early morning rainy weather has caused some Mother Lode residents to lose power.
According to PG&E, approximately 600 customers were without power at 9:30 a.m. this morning as a result of two separate outages. According to PG&E, power was lost between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., and there was no estimated time for restoration at that time.
About 449 of the customers were located in Columbia, and 150 were located in Sonora, though the outages initially affected about 300 more customers.
Groveland area residents also experienced a short power outage, which lasted between around 8:20 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. this morning. That outage affected about 1,599 customers, according to PG&E.
