TUOLUMNE COUNTY

 

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

 

WEDNESDAY

8:04 a.m., theft — Gas was siphoned from a vehicle on South Barretta Street.

12:34 p.m., assault — A man was smacked in the face during an argument on Bradford Avenue. He declined medical attention.

12:43 p.m., public intoxication — A 46-year-old man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication after an arrest at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

2:06 p.m., vandalism — A vehicle was keyed Tuesday while parked on the 700 block of Mono Way.

5:44 p.m., assault — A woman reported her 14-year-old daughter was injured after being beat up by a female student at Sonora High School.

6 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man was selling stereo equipment out of his truck on Mono Way and saying it was “overstock.”

 

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

 

WEDNESDAY

9:43 a.m., Columbia — A fire was reported on State Street and Parrotts Ferry Road.

12:52 p.m., Sonora area — A Nintendo DS was stolen on the 19300 block of Hillsdale Drive and ended up at a pawn shop.

1:30 p.m., Columbia — Five Columbia Elementary students were caught drinking on campus on Jan. 15.

1:43 p.m., Twain Harte — Watches and jeans were stolen from a residence on the 23600 block of Highway 108 on Jan. 7.

3:14 p.m., Columbia — A gun went missing from a vehicle on the 23600 block of Marble Quarry Road.

3:32 p.m., Sonora area — An out-of-control burn pile was reported on Rough and Ready Trail.

5:31 p.m., Twain Harte — 10 iPhones were fraudulently purchased under someone’s name.

7:39 p.m., Groveland — An unattended fire was reported on Hemlock Street.

11:02 p.m., Jamestown — A man got into a fight with the owner of a gas station on the 18100 block of Highway 108 and backed into a car.

WEDNESDAY

11:37 a.m., Jamestown — Danielle Stephanie Holt, 30, of the 14300 block of Golden Dove Lane, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of possession of stolen property after an arrest on the 18300 block of Highway 108.

10:19 p.m., Tuolumne — Michael Scott Bartlow, 26, of the 3700 block of Windwood Place, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of vandalism after an arrest on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

WEDNESDAY

4:39 p.m., Sonora area — David Robert Mussenden, 51, of the 18800 block of Middlecamp Road, Twain Harte, was booked after an arrest on Washington and Calaveras streets. He was also booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:19 a.m., San Andreas — A home on Berry Street was burglarized.

11:59 p.m., White Pines — Items were stolen from a residence on Fourth Street.

12:48 p.m., West Point — A residence and vehicle on Winton Road were burglarized.

WEDNESDAY

1:36 p.m., Mokelumne Hill — Toni Marie Smithson, 47, of the 8600 block of Miwok Trail, was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant and a misdemeanor charge of drunk and disorderly conduct after an arrest at her home.
