TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

FRIDAY

12:51 a.m., disorderly conduct — A man who was kicked out of a Sanguinetti Road store returned to the business parking lot.

11:47 a.m., weapons violation — A man pulled a knife on someone at South Barreta Street and Mono Way.

1:16 p.m., fraudulent activities — Two people on Sanguinetti Road claimed to be collecting donations but used the money for personal use.

1:59 p.m., traffic accident — A vehicle accident on South Washington Street was blocking the south-bound lane.

9:21 p.m., reckless driving —  A small convertible ran a red light on Sanguinetti Road.

10:54 p.m., theft — Two men were seen in a Sanguinetti Road store hiding fish food and attempting to leave the store.

SATURDAY

5:54 a.m., public intoxication — A man was seen urinating in a yard on Dragoon Circle.

1:44 p.m., trespassing — A man in a black hoodie was sitting at the end of a driveway on Solinsky Road, and residents wanted him to leave the area.

7:30 p.m., public intoxication — A man on East Church Street was belligerent and rolling in the street.

9:18 p.m., reckless driving — Two motorcycles raced up and down the road on Shaws Flat Road.

SUNDAY

1:25 p.m., vandalism — Someone on Pesce Way said they found graffiti on the side wall of a business.

2:51 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A supervisor at a Mono Way store said a suspicious man came into the store several times.

6:08 p.m., animal complaints — A caller on Highway 49 said two goats were in the road. 

7:55 p.m., hazardous situation — An officer removed a shopping cart from Old Wards Ferry Road.

The Sheriff’s Office reported the following:

FRIDAY

10:08 a.m., Soulsbyville — A woman on Clouds Rest said someone was diverting checks from her bank account.

12 p.m., Sonora area — A woman’s wallet was stolen at a Mono Way store.

12:24 p.m., Sonora area — A man was yelling and screaming at a Niagara Drive business.

1 p.m., Sonora area — A man on Madrone Circle said someone broke a window of his pickup truck, took the screws out of a sliding glass door and tried to pry the door open last month.

2:29 p.m., Jamestown — A fire was reported near O’Byrnes Ferry Road.

2:33 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on Harvard Mine Road received a possibly fraudulent letter stating her accounts were going to be levied.

4:13 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Brook Drive said the storage area of her carport was broken into, though nothing was taken.

4:24 p.m., Columbia — A South Airport Road property owner told police someone was moving into a house without permission.

6:29 p.m., Groveland — A Clements Road residence was broken into after someone cut a hole in a fence.

6:47 p.m., Tuolumne — An apartment on Tuolumne Road was ransacked.

6:56 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on Hacienda Heights said neighbors were shooting a potato gun and broke a screen.

8:48 p.m., Sonora area — A vehicle fire was reported on Highway 108 near Lime Kiln Road.

10:19 p.m., Sonora area — A domestic fight was reported on Wards Ferry Road.

11:10 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman on Madrone Street said someone broke into her house and stole a computer

SATURDAY

12:19 a.m., Jamestown — A Willow Street resident reported someone was using a loud boat whistle near their bathroom window.

12:20 a.m., Jamestown — A Seco Street man said his mother came after him with a stun gun after he accused her of grabbing his niece by the arm.

1:17 a.m., Pinecrest — A camper near Pinecrest Lake caused a disturbance.

3:52 a.m., New Melones — A man and woman argued in a campground at New Melones Reservoir.

8:54 a.m., Sonora area — A Lambert Lake Road property owner saw six horses come onto the property.

11:12 a.m., Long Barn — A man on Jordan Way East said a car swerved toward him while he was walking his dog.

11:26 a.m., Twain Harte — Four women were sleeping on the stage at Eproson Park.

11:32 Tuolumne — A woman’s car was keyed on Tuolumne Road.

5:56 p.m., Kennedy Meadows — A non-injury accident occurred on Highway 108 near Kennedy Meadows Road.

7:51 p.m., Sonora area — Someone ran the stop sign at Shaws Flat Road and Corte Del Encino on a motorcycle.

8:26 p.m., Sonora area — A bear was reported on Robin Ridge Road.

10:33 p.m., Sonora area — A fight occurred between a man and woman in a business parking lot on Longeway Road. A caller said the man got into a pickup truck and rammed the woman’s vehicle before they both drove away.

SUNDAY

6:54 a.m., La Grange — A woman said her neighbors left their dogs out to bark five nights in a row to harass her.

9:19 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on Eel River Drive said her husband took medication and threatened to shoot himself. He told deputies he did not make any threats and just had a migraine. 

10:03 a.m., Jamestown — A man on Park Avenue called 911 and said a female friend had been a guest in his house for two years and refused to leave. 

12:51 p.m., Sonora area — Someone on Tuolumne Road said an auto repair shop played loud music.

2:11 p.m., Pinecrest — A camp host at Pinecrest campground asked deputies to counsel campers about speeding. 

3:26 p.m., Lake Tulloch — A yellow boat at the south shore of Lake Tulloch was speeding and “splashed” someone. 

3:56 p.m., Columbia — A man on South Airport Road wearing holy jeans and a purple shirt said he was a combat veteran and he could “take them all out and not even worry about it.” 

4:31 p.m., Lake Tulloch — A woman at Drifters Marina said she was “buzzed” by a boat while kayaking. 

4:44 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman said she did not know why her husband was “challenged” to a fight on Twain Harte Drive. 

6:18 p.m., Soulsbyville — A man at a home on Keith Court was out of control and threw water on a woman. 

6:19 p.m.,  Sonora area — A man on Hatler Drive said he was threatened on CB radio and splattered with grape soda.

Felony bookings:

FRIDAY

2:28 p.m., Cold Springs — Lorraine Marie Giddings, 37, of the 15200 block of Cavaleri Road, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and probation violation after an arrest on Highway 108.

10:17 p.m., Twain Harte — Selena Mae Hamilton, 37, of the 22500 block Spruce Drive, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of child cruelty and assault after an arrest at her home. 

10:24 a.m., Sonora — Christopher Richard Little, 43, of the 339 block of South Stewart Street, was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats and misdemeanor assault after an arrest at his home.

SUNDAY

12:40 a.m., Sonora area — Daniel Clayton Montgomery, 22, of the 18200 block of Rozier Avenue, Tuolumne, was booked after an arrest on Buchanan Road at Canyon Drive. 

12:52 a.m., Sonora area — Dane Jackson Willis, 28, of an unknown block of Honey Lane, Tuolumne, was booked after an arrest on Buchanan Road at Canyon Drive. 

7:28 p.m., Sonora area — Connie Lynn McCutcheon, 52, of the 1600 block of Thorsen Avenue, Modesto, was booked after an arrest at Mono Way and Tuolumne Road. 

10:35 p.m., Sonora — Maurica Nodawae Walton, 24, of the 15100 block of Lupine Lane, was booked after an arrest on Greenley Road at Delnero Drive. 

CALAVERAS COUNTY

FRIDAY

7:46 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone said a suspicious van parked on Highway 12 had junk in it.

12:49 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone said there were suspicious people at residence on Carson Drive. Deputies found they were hired people “doing what they were supposed to be doing.” 

5:31 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A street sign on Pine Ridge Lane was vandalized. 

SATURDAY

8:00 a.m., Angels Camp — Someone at Stevenot Bridge on Highway 49 said they saw a dog running around a red vehicle. 

12:14 p.m., Valley Springs — Two adult siblings on Spyglass Road were in an argument. 

12:17 p.m., Murphys — A family member was acting up on Highway 4.
