The Twain Harte Community Services District is looking for a new general manager.
Scot Moody resigned to take a new position with a larger water district. Moody did not return a message seeking comment on Wednesday, though THCSD leaders this week said he will remain with the Twain Harte district for about two months.
The district is seeking applications for a new manager, with a job posting advertising a salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, health benefits and pension retirement. The general manager answers to the district Board of Directors.
“We will search for someone who can bring the leadership skills and knowledge of the state and federal laws and regulations necessary for our continued success,” said board President Jim Johnson.
Moody started with THCSD in 2008, overseeing water, fire, sewer and parks and recreation services in the community of about 2,500 people. The district employs 13 people and has a $3 million annual operating budget, according to district officials.
When Moody was hired in November 2008, he was one of 32 applicants. He had experience in the U.S. Navy and at NANA Services LLC in Tracy.
According to a state database of public employee salaries, Moody made $117,462 in wages in 2011.
