A woman was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center after a fire destroyed her mobile home on the 22000 block of Dolly Lane in Big Hill.
The fire was reported at 9:04 p.m. Monday, and the mobile home was completely engulfed in flames. The woman’s name was not available this morning, but American Red Cross Representative Debbie Calcote, who responded to the fire, said the woman was still at the hospital at 1:30 a.m.
Calcote also said the woman was very concerned because she couldn’t find her small black and white dog. Anyone who sees it in the area or has information about it can call Calcote at 346-1854.
Cal Fire Communications Officer Ed Allendorf said there were two other people in the mobile home when the fire occurred, but just the one woman was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center for observation.
Responding to the fire were Tuolumne County Fire Department, Cal Fire, Columbia Fire Protection District, Tuolumne County Ambulance and the American Red Cross.
