The annual auctions featured livestock from local students, most of whom raised the animals through FFA and 4-H clubs.
According to fair organizers, more than $252,900 in cattle, hog and sheep sales took place Saturday evening during the junior livestock event, while participants sold $18,920 worth of goats, chickens, turkeys and rabbits Sunday for the small-animal auction.
The regular benefit auction raised more than $7,000, with the proceeds of that event going to the Tuolumne County Small Livestock Exhibitors’ Association.
