Only two outdoor concerts are scheduled this year at the Ironstone Vineyards Amphitheater in Murphys, but they will include two Grammy Award winners and two members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The country band Lady Antebellum, winner of six Grammy Awards, will open the season on Friday, June 13, with a support act to be announced.
A double bill featuring ZZ Top and multiple Grammy winner Jeff Beck — both in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — will wrap up the season on Friday, Aug. 15. Beck will play a full set, followed by a full ZZ Top set, with a finale joining the English guitar master with the Texas rockers.
Series tickets go on sale April 11 through all Ticketmaster outlets, said Billy Cohen, spokesman for the Richter Entertainment Group, which has returned to booking the Ironstone acts after an absence of two years.
Black Oak Casino also has returned as major sponsor of the series, he said.
