2012 prices are topic of Tuesday’s meeting

The Mother Lode Fair Board of Directors will talk Tuesday about prices for the 2012 Mother Lode Fair. On the agenda for the 5 p.m. meeting in the Creekside Building are the cost of admission, commercial spaces and concessions, as well as the contract for the Destruction Derby. Donna Alves, fair clerk, said longtime derby coordinator David Owsley has moved out of the area, and the directors will be asked to approve a contract with Deb Nelson, manager of the Calaveras County Destruction Derby to also manage the derby at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. |
