After more than 30 years at Camp Mather on Labor Day weekend, both the location and the dates have changed for this year’s fall festival.
“While this transition, spurred on by the Rim Fire of 2013, has had its challenges, the Nevada County Fairgrounds offers sanctuary in the form of comfort, beauty, and amenities with easy access,” festival staff said. “Grass Valley is a charming Gold Rush town with lots of services, including lodging options, restaurants, stores, gas stations, and recreation. We want to thank the gracious staff at the Nevada County Fairgrounds and to the greater community for hosting us for the 60th Strawberry Music Festival.”
Tickets from the cancelled fall 2013 festival can still be exchanged for the 2014 festival based on availability. Tickets from fall 2013 will not be accepted at the gate.
People with a valid 2013 fall festival ticket are guaranteed a refund if received at the Strawberry office in Jamestown or postmarked by Sept. 30. After that, all 2013 fall festival tickets lose their value.
