Strawberry Fall Festival takes shape for Sept. 11

Ticket sales began this week for the 2014 Strawberry Fall Music Festival, taking place Sept. 11 to 14 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. Performers will include Jerry Douglas, Eliza Gilkyson, John Jorgenson, Patty Griffin and more to be announced.

‘Rods to Rails’ show returns to Jamestown

Starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jamestown’s cozy Main Street will be closed off and free to spectators to view an array of spectacular vehicles during the Jamestown Promotion Club’s third annual “Rods to Rails” classic car show.
